My husband Nicolas and I were married at the Historic Rosemont Manor September 1st, 2023. Bill was the first person we met and he immediately sold my husband off of the history of the manor alone. Each room was named after someone who stayed in the room. And in the conference center there are cases of items found on the grounds. Bill was personable and realistic with every aspect of the planning. We chose to stay for 2 nights with our immediate family and bridal party and it was the best 2 days of my life. Everything was flawless, the vibe the entire time was unmatched and all the staff including our wedding planner Sarah made our wedding weekend something I’ll never forget.

The catering required for the weekend through celebrations was AMAZING. 10/10 recommend.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with our choice of venue. We will be back to visit this beautiful place!

My first tea! Perhaps not my last… :) I think what made the experience so pleasant besides the yummy food, great company, and tea, was the young girl pouring our tea. I admired how she kept her smile the whole service, very attentive, and so kind. I couldn’t imagine the pressure. Thank you Stella.

Rosemont Manor is my absolute favorite place for Afternoon Tea. The staff is so welcoming, the tea & food are amazing quality and the Manor itself offers a great, historic charm.

Whether it's for a general public tea or one of the themed teas (Alice in Wonderland, Halloween, Christmas, Clue, Downtown Abbey, etc) you will have a memorable experience!

Rosemont is the perfect place for an extra special B&B stay or for a wedding! My husband & I got married here a number of years ago. Everything was just perfect down to every last detail. It's most perfect historic venue for your Virginia wedding!

Every wedding I have photographed at the Barn here has been lovely. There is something magical about the lighting with the "waterfall" background! It's been amazing exploring the land around as I photograph couples & document their love in such a unique setting. And the spotlight "last dance" option is perfection! I look forward to more weddings at the barn!

WOW!!!! We got married at Rosemont last weekend 01/29/22 and I am still processing how incredible it was. We rented the entire manor property for the weekend, which I can not recommend more. It allowed for us to enjoy our time with guests etc and not feel like we wasted money on one rushed day. Michael, our wedding planner was a blessing. He stuck by my side for the past two years and helped me create the wedding of my dreams!! Seriously, he is an expert and my biggest helper. The grounds are beautiful and our winter wedding came to life with snow, fireworks, amazing food and drinks. Our guests are still not over the experience they had and we will forever remember this as the best time in our entire life. I wish I could do it a million times over! Thank you Rosemont !!!

We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed catching glimpses of wild turkeys and deer roam the grounds! Staff were friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

As a wedding videographer I travel around to 30 or 40 venues a year. I knew Historic Rosemont Manor was a gorgeous venue with a rich history. I also heard it was a wonderful place for weddings. I FINALLY had a chance to film a wedding here for myself and Rosemont did NOT disappoint! The Manor and surrounding arboretum are gorgeous and provided plenty of different backdrops for photographing and filming the bridal party, families and of course, the couple. The Manor itself is very elegant and classy. It is spacious and well decorated. Wedding guests who want to enjoy a weekend stay at Rosemont can choose to book one of several rooms in the Manor or stay at one of the on site guest houses. I think that is fabulous and is a great way to alleviate some of the stress involved in traveling. When I first walked into the Bridal Suite, it was pristine. The bridal gown was hanging in great lighting all ready for me to film! The brides shoes and jewelry were also arranged perfectly and ready to film. It was amazing! The entire wedding day was super organized, and well thought through.
While there is a new barn on location for wedding receptions, the wedding reception I filmed took place in the old carriage house, which is actually quite nice! The decor, flowers, and lighting set the mood for a perfect evening. I continued to be super impressed by the attention to detail throughout the day. Dinner was absolutely delicious and I was blown away when I was invited to eat almost immediately as many venues will make their vendors eat last.
The DJ for the evening was Rick Rohn out of Martinsburg, WV. He was fun, super professional, and led the way in giving everyone a fun night to remember. To top everything off, there was a surprise FIREWORKS show for the groom during an outside cake cutting. Of course, none of these amazing experiences this day would have happened without the hard work and dedication of Michael Haymaker. He is THE wedding planner of Historic Rosemont Manor. He cares passionately for each and every couple he serves and goes above and beyond in making every Rosemont wedding as perfect as possible. I HIGHLY recommend Historic Rosemont Manor for your wedding day or special event. Contact Michael today and have him help you plan your unforgettable wedding experience at Rosemont! He has the experience, he knows what he is doing, and he will take great care of you!

I have been to the Manor House Tea at Rosemont Manor twice. Once for a regular weekend afternoon tea (in winter) and once for their special Christmas Tea. Both times were absolutely lovely! I highly recommend tea here.

The Manor House has been carefully restored and preserved by the family that owns it. Part of the tea includes a guided tour (of the main level) and a discourse on the history of the house (it has quite a history). I found this to be fascinating. For the Christmas Tea, the house was exquisitely decorated. It could have been and should be featured in Victoria Magazine and Southern Living it was that elegant, elaborate, and beautiful. For my second visit (the Christmas Tea) we started our tea in the carriage house with hot cider and a video. The carriage house was so beautiful it took our breath away and made my entire group want to get married again - there.

Both times, it was a three-course tea (some of the teas change seasonally) and the menu was seasonal as well. The teas and food were delicious each time! I bought some tea for home on each visit. I particularly loved their Lemon Souffle Tea. I went to the Christmas Tea for my Book Club's December Book Exchange. They accommodated our party of 9 so wonderfully. They seated us at a large round table in a private room. One of our members is gluten-free and I was impressed with how they handled and accommodated her needs. She said her food was fabulous as well. We were not rushed at all during our tea and our cups were continually refilled. Both times were delightful teas.

After the teas, we were encouraged to go upstairs to see and explore the bedrooms on our own. The bedrooms were named after people who have been to/stayed in the manor. The presidential suites were very nice and I intend to go back and stay in one for my anniversary this year. I also plan to go back in the spring to see the lovely grounds in full bloom. Both of my visits have been in winter and I would love to see what it looks like in Spring/Summer.

Overall, I can't say enough good things about their Manor House Teas. They really are wonderful and if you are on the fence about going - reserve your spot now.

Beautiful, majestic mansion! We enjoyed the spectacular views behind the bride and groom, as they said their Wedding Vows. Then, the guests proceeded to the carriage house for the reception. I have been to several Weddings at this venue.

My wife and I booked the Rosemont Manor for our wedding last Fall and had an incredible experience. If you’re reading this and considering this location for your big day, we cannot recommend it enough (and we looked at a TON of venues in the Western Virginia area). First and foremost, our wedding coordinator, Michael Haymaker, went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care with all the additional considerations with respect to Covid. Not only that, but the entire venue staff were incredibly accommodating through our planning process and were timely in all correspondence.

When we first toured the property, we were given the choice between hosting our event at either the manor or the barn (both located on the property). We opted for the manor and also booked the guest rooms and 2 cottages for friends and family. The Bird’s Nest suite (the newly wed cottage) was perfect for my wife and I’s first night as a married couple. For anyone with a taste for history or the gorgeous property, the stay is absolutely incredible and feels like a true bed and breakfast from the past. It was very beautiful and super convenient to have family and friends staying on the property the whole time.

Planning leading up to the event took place over a year and half and never once did we feel ignored or forgotten. Between coordinating the guest stay and ensuring our vendors were updated on information they needed, we never had to question that everything was on track. Michael wanted to meet with us several times to kick things off and then numerous times leading up to the event to ensure nothing fell through unseen. We always knew that these meetings were important, but in hindsight, this meticulous planning and organizing was critical to the success of the event. We never could have hosted anything half as extravagant without all the planning that Michael offered and assisted with. Nothing was overlooked.

All the work we did with Michael was highlighted and then elevated by the clear level of experience and professionalism all staff exhibited on the big day. We received numerous compliments on how friendly and accommodating everyone working was. My wife and I were particularly blown away by how everything just worked. With the unknowns of trying to do a mostly outdoor event (Covid) we were worried about the weather, but the Rosemont staff handled everything exceptionally. There was one last minute hiccup (due to an oversight on our part) and we didn’t have space in the reception area for a photobooth we had requested. Michael stepped in and told me not to worry about it. Needless to say, it was taken care of before we even had time to worry about it. The evening was truly flawless.

We would recommend the Rosemont Manor to anyone even remotely considering it. Their experience, professionalism and genuine care for their patrons was of the highest caliber. You will not regret booking with Rosemont, period.

From the first time I saw Historic Rosemont Manor, I knew that was where my wedding would be. We booked the venue shortly after our first visit. While there were some communication issues, mainly related to staff changes, those didn't matter when it came to my wedding day. Michael did an amazing job making sure that my wedding day ran smoothly. Everything was absolutely perfect! The venue was gorgeous, and Michael through in many add-on's for free, which helped make the already beautiful venue even more beautiful. My guests kept commenting about how beautiful the venue was, and how perfect the day was.

When we started planning our wedding, it was clear that our budget was not doable for Rosemont. Rosemont was a very pricey venue, and we ended up spending more than we wanted to - but it was all worth it for the perfection of the stress-free day!

We can't wait to visit Rosemont in the future!

Rosemont Manor is the absolute best. They can handle any size wedding and make it feel intimate and relaxed, as if you were in your own home. The owner and staff are incredibly attentive, their wedding coordinator Michael is absolutely a one of a kind magician. Everything turned out exactly the way we wanted it, and even more special than I could have imagined. I highly recommend Rosemont for your special occasions!! They also help with preferred vendors, all of which were professional and friendly. you can book a wedding as small or large as you need. This venue is is a dream come true. The Manor was gorgeous and a perfect location for a fall wedding. The staff was friendly and polite. Very appropriate for a classy and intimate ceremony. The carriage house was a wonderful setting for a picturesque reception. Small but lovely to be just big enough for the crowd that gathered. I would absolutely recommend this venue for any kind of similar event.

We had a wonderful experience at Afternoon Tea at the beautiful Historic Rosemont Manor!! The whole experience was top-notch from start to finish. The owner was warm and welcoming, the teas and food were EXCELLENT! We even made some new friends over tea! We have had afternoon tea in dozens of places, including different states and we LOVED theirs. You will be impressed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

The tea service was a great afternoon event. The tea and food items we quite lovely. The grounds are gorgeous and we got to peruse the bedrooms in the manor that were not in use. I'm not a history buff but got to learn some fun facts about the area. The family that runs the manor were super sweet as well. Would be a fun girls event for a bridal shower or get together.

There is so much history tied to this beautiful Manor home. I love the fact that so many Presidents have stayed here and have rooms named after them. Even John Wayne and Albert Einstein stayed here. I stayed in Winston Churchill’s room. I loved rocking on the wide white rocking chairs on the grande portico while looking out at the beautiful grounds. .

The proprietor of Rosemont Manor had generously donated a certificate for reduced afternoon tea prices to a silent auction to benefit the St. Luke Community Clinic in Front Royal. My father is one of the founders of the clinic, and I was so thrilled to win the bid and take my parents, husband, and best friend for a fabulous afternoon at the manor. We enjoyed hearing the past and present stories involving the home and its occupants, and seeing the remaining Christmas decorations as we toured the rooms. The tea itself was relaxing with three excellent courses. We were tended to with warmth, and the charm and character of those involved in the experience, along with the historical significance and beauty of the home, made it a memorable afternoon. We all loved our time there. Go once, and you will want to go again!
