I’ve gotten my two kitties from here and i love them to pieces ! Very very friendly staff and each time I’ve visited im always welcomed with a warm smile. Keep it up

It is a great shelter to adopt animals specifically cats, adoption fee is around 100, sometimes they have insane “deals” around the holidays, like 15 for valentines.
Their adoption process and paperwork is straight forward and easy to understand.
Most cats are spayed/neutered, you can and should visit to see all available critters both new and old.
You get a complementary vet check-up at select locations.
Their vaccines are usually up to date, so not much is needed.

Had a cat I raised since he was born behind my job in 2018

Took care of him and his momma since I brought them to town and inside

But middle of March my boy biscuit was attacked by someone or a animal and hurt

I haven't worked in months and couldn't cover his vet trip

The Winchester spca helped me to put him down on there dime so he wouldn't suffer

I love the cat room where you are free to play and touch the animals. The dogs are more so depressing to see in their cages, just barking away, waiting and begging for a home. It's too sad, but I'm glad places like this exist for them. It's an overall wonderful place because they're helping these beautiful babies.

Great local animal shelter! The volunteers are always helpful and the animals are incredibly well cared for.

We need 2 additional barn cats (kittens) as it's best to have 3 or more for rodent control and protection against predators.

Staff are always polite. Facility is clean considering the number of animals. They have good records and are honest about if a certain pet is appropriate based on household situation. Also, all pets are spayed or neutered and vaccines are updated so good price considering.

All employees talk to you and help with picking out dog answer all questions

I really didn't want to get rid of my pitbull because of renters ignorance and the Winchester SPCA held him for a week for me to help me out. They truly care about the animals and not just the almighty dollar.

The dedication and love this place has for the animals is truly amazing! We found our new family member "Storm" there, and she has turned out to be the best money we've ever spent! I can't say enough about how amazing these folks are! I would give them 10 stars, but alas, I'm only allowed 5.

it was very clean and we were glad to see they didnt have many animals during our visit! the cat room was very nice and loved seeing the cats free and roaming around. the kennels were typical of shelters but at least clean

I can never say enough about the ladies that work or volunteer there. Always quick efficient and above all else friendly. Whether I need assistance with food or with a medical question for my fur babies,I know they are only a call away.

Dropped off donation for Xmas. Always very clean and the workers are very kind to the fur babies.

Very helpful staff. Volunteers are welcomed and the animals always seem well taken care of. They also sponsor some cool events! The facility seems pretty clean. The odor is pretty strong in the cat or dog room sometimes, but only once in a while. Sweet animals always. ADOPT!

Amazing people! So patient with us as our five year old picked out his first kitten, Loki (Lowkey) to join our family. We had such a perfect first night together. Thanks y’all!

I haven't been here in a while but last time I went it was nice and the staff was very good. Always great to adopt. They have fenced in areas that you can take the dogs into and play.

Very clean, staff are friendly and helpful

My dog died recently and I dropped off his dog food, many bowls, newish toys, and leashes. They were so thankful, compassionate and made me feel better..wonderful staff. Oh, yes, I donated to their cause.

This place was clean, well maintained, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. They take good care of all the animals and any bad reviews must have been old from previous management. I read the bad reviews too so I was hesitant but I stopped in and was incredibly surprised. I asked why the bad reviews when obviously they were untrue and it turns out previous management and staff were completely different. It shows because I loved every time I visited them. I couldn’t be happier that our local SPCA is a reliable place to take care of our strays and castaways.

I bring a group of individuals with disabilities there usually once a month, they love visiting the cats. Everyone is kind and the kitties love all the attention
