Crash-Test Yummies HQ

I just ate here for the first time under the recommendation of a friend. The building can be a little difficult to find, but it's not a location you'll forget the second time around. The sandwiches were great and the Heath bar Mookie was as well. The only "complaint" I have is that when we arrived they weren't that busy but we still ended up waiting 15 or 20 minutes for the food. In the end it wasn't really a problem because the food was excellent in the wait, worth it. I will be by again.
Side note: the cups are a little flimsy, I wouldn't give one to a kid. However, I feel like that's an effort to reduce plastic use, so it's fine by me.

We grabbed the last of CTY’s Valentine’s dinner and could not have been more thrilled - check out their Instagram/Facebook for information on what they’re cooking up each week! We got some of the last entrees and crab soup they had available and they actually threw in a Caesar salad on the house. My husband and I both said that the meal was the most like going out to eat we’ve experienced in months (lockdown). All the food was fantastic- the soup was truly phenomenal. We’ll be keeping an eye out for future meals!

I’ve ordered holiday dinners and I’ve NEVER been disappointed. I’m excited for the post-covid reopening. The service and food are fantastic. This is a hidden gem in Winchester and my favorite restaurant.

Everything is so fresh and delicious! Love it locally sourced and homemade! Seriously the sandwiches are excellent, the salads so fresh and the mookies are amazing! Love the creative spin on sandwiches, haven't tried one I didn't love. The caprese has bomb pesto, the house made grickles (pickles made from baby cucs) are good on anything, the pimento cheese is so good on the grilled cheese with or without pulled pork. It's a must try! We always enjoy! (Also, bonus tip, they make party platters of Mookies you can order for parties... Ummm yes!)

We stopped here for carry out lunch and got two Members Only Club sandwiches with chips. When entering I was greeted by Renee. She was friendly, welcoming, and her kindness was infectious. I honestly left feeling more cheerful than before I had entered. The two clubs were similar to most other fresh and good quality clubs I have had, but what set them apart was the bacon. OMG, the bacon! It was thick cut, salty, glazed with sweetness (maybe brown sugar), ever so slightly spicy (maybe with a hint of chili powder), and melt in your mouth perfect. Then there was the totally unexpected, yet completely appreciated surprise of a miniature chocolate chip cookie bite. It was barely crispy on the out side and so buttery with gooey center. I could have ate 20 of them. Excellent work Crash-Test Yummies!

We just ordered through GrubHub for lunch. I got the Members Only Club sandwich (without Ham.) It was sooo good. The first bite had so many great flavors from the 2 different cheeses, the buttery bread, the delicious turkey, and then I tasted something sweet !! It was the ridiculously delicious bacon. It is worth every penny and then some..... TREAT YOURSELF !!

I have been very impressed with the quality and creativity of the dishes, and really enjoy chatting with the CTY team - their customer service is impeccable and has a really friendly feel. I've particularly enjoyed the specials that Josh runs every week or two for dishes that are either new to me or are "oldies but goodies" that are reasonably priced and taste fantastic. My family had an unusual Christmas gathering this year due to COVID, so we ordered CTY's Hong Kong Duck, which came with easy-to-follow instructions (although all of the hard work had already been taken care of) and all the fixings to prepare the meal at home. It was very reasonably priced and my family loved it. We are going to be having their Chicken Cordon Bleu with roasted asparagus and patatas bravas this weekend. They work around our schedule for pick up and are always delightful to work with. I highly recommend trying them out - they're local and really wonderful at what they do!

Have been eating here about once a week since they opened. My coworkers and I actually have Crash Test Thursday’s! The food is always fresh and delicious and prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Josh and staff are very interactive with their customers and we always feel welcome. You will be happy you tried CTY and will continue to come back time after time!!! A+++

WOW! This is a place people need to stop overlooking. This is a joint that belongs in New York City competing with other top notch restaurants but Winchester is lucky enough to have them. Please do yourself a favor and go! Just check their times to make sure they’re open!

My husband and I used Crash-Test Yummies recently for catering for a family gathering and working with them was nothing short of fantastic. In my line of work, I interface with a lot of catering companies and have seen it all, and Crash-Test Yummies truly exhibits professionalism, promptness, and high-quality food upon delivery. We also went in prior to try a couple of the sandwiches, and oh my, we'll be back. Also need to note that their homemade jalapeno vinagarette is outstanding.

CTY has my favorite chili in the area, hands down (as long as you like some heat). The weekly & holiday specials are always creative and so tasty! Everything is layered with flavor and coupled with all the delightful food, is excellent customer service.

Absolutely amazing. Just went here for lunch. I got the chili hotdog, probably the best chili dog I’ve ever had. The service is amazing, it makes chick-fil- a workers look mean. The servers were on top of everything and it was just an amazing experience overall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. If I could I would give this restaurant an 11/10.

Really nice people & they pop up at local events. It's unfortunate that at the moment they are unable to have a dinner menu. Just recently tried for the first time going in the building and I think the food is on point they also use local meats. Looking forward to them being able to bring dinner back so I can try!

I ordered the cuban sandwich with side of chili and it was excellent. Their chili is definitely best in town. They add bacon bits to it which takes it to the next level.

The pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich was very good, and the chef made a tom yum soup of the day that was dope. They have route 11 chips

The place is hidden kinda, but gps got us there fine. It's clean, staff is so friendly, its a little pricey, but so good. We got crack jack i think it was called and it was amazing. Must try once at least.

This place has the best club sandwich in Winchester. Hands down best. Their mookie is incredible. Love this Resturant and their amazing sandwiches

My wife and I ordered the Caprese and Milroy sandwiches--both were FANTASTIC. The Milroy is hands down the best chicken sandwich in town!

Always the freshest tastiest food. Clean restaurant, friendly staff. You can taste the care and skill in each dish.
