The Rancho Mexican Restaurant

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a few years. I always love the atmosphere and the service. Honestly, I’ve never had a bad experience here. Every food items I’ve order has exceeded expectations. The chips and salsa is really good, not too salty. My favorites are the chimichangas, shrimp al chipotle, enchiladas and shrimp & avocado salad. Needless to say the drinks are amazing! Pictures is the Long Island iced tea, which is very strong lol. I highly recommend.

This was the best Mexican food we had on our trip. Everything was just that much tastier than other restaurants we went to. Service with a smile and great prices. All the workers smiled and seemed happy, which really added to our dining experience.

We had a group of eight and there was no trouble getting seats for dinner. The chips and salsa was especially delicious and we couldn't stop eating it throughout our meal. The daily special was fajitas on a hot plate. The portion was very generous and I could only finish half of it.

Lots of shopping within walking distance as well, which was a big bonus. If you're visiting Winchester, I highly recommend this restaurant!

So good, I had such a bad day & came into this place & the customer service was a 12/10. They made me feel so welcome & the food is even better!!

Very nice Mexican restaurant. The service was good, the food was good. A definite must try. I enjoyed the steak fajita burrito. My wife had the tacos. My daughter had the chicken fajita burrito, and my other daughter had picked three choices with enchilda and Taco.

I love the food here, it's comfy and cozy. We've eaten here often and always had a good meal. We always dine in just do, cause Mexican food is best when fresh from the kitchen.

Went here for lunch on a Wednesday. It wasn't too crowded. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. The service was quick from ordering the food to actually getting the food. You get a basket of chips and some salsa when you are there. The chips are very good. Our lunch was delicious. Definitely recommend for a lunch date. They have specials for every day of the week.

3 Years later and not only still loving it here, but tonight had the best Mexican dish I've ever had anywhere!

Did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and consistent. Our food came very quick. The food was hot and delicious. The prices are very reasonable. I Definitely will be going back.

2021 - I love this place. My SO and i come here for Margarita Monday. I've gotten the taco salad, both chicken and beef. It's super yummy and hard to finish because it's so big. The chicken is shredded and a bit wet but tastes so amazing. I've had the fish tacos which were fantastic, totally worth the extra money. I get the 3 crunchy tacos with the chicken the majority of the time i come here. Again, they're a bit soggy by the end but totally worth how delicious they are. My boyfriend always gets the 3 beef hard tacos, he's a creature of habit, but I've had them too and i don't blame him for sticking with them because they're really good. I don't know what cheese they use but let me tell you, it makes the taco. I'm the type of person to put tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, etc on my taco. But with just the lettuce and their cheese i have no complaints because it's perfect. Sometimes i put some of the salsa on my tacos/taco salad and it takes it to another level. The service it always attentive, pleasant and quick even when they're super busy. I've not explored their menu past the tacos but everything i see come out of that kitchen looks and smells amazing. If you've never been here i highly recommend trying it.

Edit: 8/30/22 This place is still amazing as ever. Had fish tacos yesterday and actually took a picture before I devoured them. Hot tip, if you like heat, ask for the homemade hot sauce. It's different every time but it's always very hot and we love it. I've tried a few other items from the menu. The Enchilada Suiza is delicious. I love how the pickled onions pair perfectly with the tomatillo sauce. The Tacos De Pollo Asada is more than you can eat in one sitting and amazing as well. I will come back with more updates and pictures.

I took my family here 2 weeks ago for my husband's birthday, and then we came here again last week for our wedding anniversary. Delicious food all around. My first visit I had birria quesadillas while my husband had the birria tacos (admittedly they were the same exact thing minus the cilantro and onions for the quesadillas). I had the happy hour special margharitas both visits, which were great, though I'm told that their *fresh* margharitas are divine.

For our second visit we both had burritos. My husband liked his chipotle burrito, but if you arent well acquainted with chipotle peppers in adobo, the accompanying taste can throw you off a little. I had the Jalisco(?) Burrito, which had quite a few different meats and was smothered in a nice, zesty cream sauce. I appreciated how each meat was properly cooked (even the shrimp, which can get a bit rubber-y in mixed dishes at times).

Both times, we were seated immediately; the first time in particular was impressive because we were a party of 8!

Chorizo queso was one of the best I’ve had. Along with the pollo asada.

We were looking for a good Mexican Restaurant and happened upon this one. A lot of people where going there, so we decided to try it. They have very good food and service.

Not a big Mexican food person but there quesadilla was delicious. The service was great as well. Definitely have plans for future visits and coming from me thats a big thing considering, I've never been a big Mexican food type of guy.

Great mexican food and atmosphere!
The lime margarita was delicious. The chips and salsa and queso were nice and fresh.
The taco and chilli relleno dish was satisfying. My friends had taco salad and 3 chicken tacos which they enjoyed. The server was very nice and attentive during the meal. The decor is lovely, i love the leather chairs. The bathroom was clean and the doors are a nice touch.

Just moved into the area, and have eaten here twice so far. Both times have been incredible. Excellent portions for the price!

Awesome Mexican food served fast and friendly.
Their beef birria tacos are phenomenal 🤤 Awesome chile relleno, and simply the best refried beans. Can't go wrong, never had a bad dish!

Fresh salsa and chips and ridiculously large mugs of beer. The food was good, along with great service and atmosphere for a long overdue get-together with my brothers.

Food was excellent, BUT----+
The dead spider in my second glass of tea kinda ruined meal. The spider was frozen inside the ice cube. See photos. Yuk Yikes.

The best place in town to get all your Mexican eat on. They have a great menu and a wonderful fun and friendly staff.go and get your eat on you will be glad you did. Come hungry leave full

By far the best Chili Rellenos that I have had in the area. All of the 6 people in our party really enjoyed their meals. 4 of us had the combo plate, one had the Texas Fajitas, and Kids Burgers. I highly recommend The Rancho Mexican Restaurant anyone. Well done!
