I was here tonight where a lady didn't like her food. I watched the owner and bartender try to resolve the issue immediately for her, with professionalism and pose. The food I had was incredible, not sure what she had. But all I know is, if I was them, I wouldn't have maintained my composure for nearly as long. It was my first time here, and definitely seemed like a stray crazy person on Christmas evening. Pricing is fair and low, ambiance is very family oriented, like a strong community. Fantastic northern bar. A gem for the south Florida community.

We got a few beverages and ordered 15 medium wings with blue cheese and ranch along with Loaded Chili Cheese Tots. Also ordered the Mahi Sandwich and Cheeseburger. Great food and great prices. Melissa at the bar was sweet.

Random stop and Not disappointed!! Melissa was our Bartender and she is awesome!! Food and the drinks were amazing!! We will definitely come back!

A working man's beer sort of place that is super friendly and loves dogs more than people. They have food but I didn’t try it. Enjoy this working man’s bar in a sea of foo-foo places called Fort Lauderdale. @OakParkCity.

This is a great little neighborhood bar, it has both indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs are always welcome, smoking is permitted outside, there is a pool table, pinball machine and darts. The employees here are always welcoming and friendly, there is a great selection of quality bar food.

A welcoming environment, great food, great service. I came here for my birthday last year and had to return again this vacation due to its impeccable sense of comfortability. Will continue to return here and encourage all traveling this way to stop by!

I’m an industry dude from PA, visiting Florida for the week. Today I woke up with a ruthless hangover and was in need of some good bar food for my 6pm lunch. I found this gem on a thing called the internet. Scott and Cassie were behind the bar and they treated me like an old buddy. Some of the regulars sat and talked with me too. How else would I know that Ken hates onions and is scared of dogs?
The food was exactly what I wanted and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The banter in this joint was comedic gold too. If you are a fan of places with that “neighborhood bar” vibe, here ya go!

Went there with a friend to watch our Patriots play and we both said it was the best food we've had since moving to South Florida. Burger and cheesesteak we so good and had the freshest bread! Prices were amazing for what you get and service was wonderful. Don't pay for overpriced mediocre food at chain restaurants...go to Big Dog's and you will not be disappointed. Definitely going back!

Friendly neighborhood bar & eatery. Good quality food with occasional "Specials" and reasonable drink prices with great Happy Hours.

Great neighborhood bar-and-grill... Friendly staff and great, hands-on-owner...Dog / animal lovers to the core. Wonderful and welcoming crowd, regardless of your sports team affinity...Deinitely a Boston / New England hot spot. The establishment definitely appreciates the working-class man / woman, especially First Responder / Military... Great food, great drinks, great service! Will be back any time I'm in the area.

Staff is super friendly, the beer is cold, and the food is great. What more could you ask for? Definitely a great local spot.

Very friendly atmosphere, fast and courteous service. Food was a 7.5 outta 10. Bar patron were social and kind.

Fun Fact- It's called Big Dog but inhabited by a random Cat the staff call "RK."

Definitely a place on my radar for future outings while in town.

This place has soul. The employees are fun and interesting and the patrons are weird. I wouldn't have it any other way.

The drinks and food are just as great. I don't promise they'll have it, but the fish tacos are excellent. Good luck getting any cuz I'd most likely have eaten them all by the time you get there.
