Don Knight Park at Lake Golden

Huge park featuring one large pavilion with adequate seating and excellent lawn and lakefront upkeep. The restrooms were well maintained and supplied. It was excellent for our family reunion! There was, also, a large concrete dance floor and stage for our awesome DJ to do his thing!

I nice place to rent out for events.

A nice place for a gathering. Near Sanford Airport. Somewhat difficult to identify as it doesn't 'resemble' a typical park, as you would expected. Covered pavilion large enough for large groups, with picnic tables and 'buffet type' space. Great for potluck type gatherings. Bathrooms are available and clean. Plenty of parking and view of lake golden. Grassy areas for play. Did not note ant playground type equipment. Overall nice gathering space; family reunions, memorials, receptions etc.
