Lake Ida West Park

I use the park primarily as a walking path, one complete loop is approximately two miles.
Enjoy the shores of Lake Ida and it's scenic beauty.

Really nice park. Well maintained. They also have a dog park and boat ramp. Saw people out on the lake with jet skis and small boats. They have large and small pavillions with barbacue grills. Great place for a picnic.

Wonderful, smooth place for jet skiing easy to watch predominantly freshwater as opposed to any salt, multiple children with beautiful trees everywhere

Bathrooms! Parking! Benches! Slides! Area for little kids and big kids. Views of the water. There are two separate playgrounds. It would be nice if the main playground had a fence so that little kids couldn’t wander off.

Big park. Lots of fishing spots. Plenty of pavilions and grills with shade. Big dog park.

Love the park, huge lake to fish and love the wildlife and that you can walk around and enjoy the outside.

A place for nature lovers, walkways throughout the park , a playground, picnic areas ,as well as a dog park. Open by 6 am closed around 7 pm

This is a very nice park, especially if you own a dog! We stayed in Delray Beach for 2.5 weeks and visited this park at least every other day. We did not find Delray to be particularly dog friendly, dogs are not allowed on the beaches or in City parks (Lake Ida is a County Park), so we were grateful for this location. Within the park is a fenced in dog run. One section for large dogs the other for small dogs. They actually have a third dog run that they switch to when the sod in one of the other areas gets beat up. Ingenious! The early morning birding is pretty good too! See my pic below. The only draw backs to this park is that it is right next to noisy I-95 and in spots you get a septic smell from the bathrooms.

Best Park to jet ski and do water sports as well as have an excellent family BBQ day. Lake is wide enough to whip the jet ski and hit top speeds and clean enough that you aren't afraid to step in. People are friendly park is clean. Great spot for families.

A super park. It has play station and swings etc. for little kids, bike paths for big kids and 3 doggie parks for our woofers. There are BBQ set-ups and loads of seating throughout the extensive park and being on the intercoastal waterway, there's access to the ocean, jet-skiing and fishing. Oh - and the wildlife is great: squirrels, birds galore and possibly even a gator or two. Come and enjoy!

Nicely paved walkways, nice pavilions, play areas. Also a dog park AND a boat ramp.

We had a great outing. Great people and drumming and celebrating @Marijah's birthday. Met new and great people.

I turned 42 yesterday and it's a day I will never forget

My favorite park within 5 minute drive from my home. Plenty of shelters, picnic benches and it is pretty clean.

This was our yearly picnic for our youth from 5 different churches in our organization. It was a wonderful day and we had lots of fun.

Great park. Lots of traffic on the lake, sometimes a little loud. Always nice and well maintained.
