Kat was a nurse caring my mom in the ER. She was on her game, knowledgeable, as well as accommodating. I genuinely felt my mom was in safe hands. Future, a main floor nurse, was also extremely patient and personable. She made sure my mom was comfortable, and genuinely cared about my moms well being. Both of these individuals went above and beyond to ensure protocol, safety, while still maintaining professional care. I am very grateful for both of these front line women, as they made sure my mother was in good hands. Very thankful for them, and what they do.

We were seen promptly and the staff showed true empathy. This is a smaller hospital that does not take in high trauma patients. This means that the team of nurses and doctors are more readily available to help you. We went in for kidney pain and they had us in a room and were taken care of then out the door within 2 hours or less. This includes imaging and doctor consultation. Definitely recommend for everyday care.

Every single person I’ve came in contact with has been nothing short of amazing. I came in with pneumonia, and am still here currently, they’ve been so beyond helpful. So kind, attentive, honest, funny, and caring. I’ve NEVER been in a hospital where everyone was so great. Thank you so much for actually listening to my concerns

Kat in the ER, Sharla, Jessica, Marie, Joan, and Dr Ovoke were all amazing. I wish I remembered everyone’s name.

The emergency department team did an excellent job saving my husband's life. There are not enough strong words to show my gratitude for the entire team. They show empathy, courtesy and kindness ❤ Thank you.

I can’t rave enough. We took my daughter here 2 years ago for an asthma attack and the staff immediately crowded her and was on top of taking care of her and did such a good job with her. I went last night for severe pain in my abdomen from vomiting and they took the same amount of care. They were attentive, I was never left alone for long, never had to pester someone for anything, both my daughter and myself were in and out in 4 hours (most ERS we spend 6-8 hours). Cant express my thanks enough!

Terrified to come here based off the reviews, but it was either this or drive 25 minutes away. My son was in excruciating pain and requested I call the ambulance. I figured with the world and staffing shortages me taking him would be faster. They took care of him immediately and was very attentive to his condition. Ran test and gave him meds to help his pain until he was able to calm down. Sadly we had to be admitted and transferred to the hospital I was going to initially take him. I love the staff for going above and beyond for my son. Thank you all who were on the night shift in this emergency room.

I absolutely love this hospital and the whole staff! I brought my father in who had an accident and declined as he was neglected at another hospital system. From the moment we walked in the triage nurse was sympathetic, listened, and showed she cared by even offering a hug. (3days prior to my father my mom had a molded heart attack- it was a week for sure) the registration lady was also very caring and helpful in uploading my father’s information. The nurses were all amazing and didn’t complain or make my dad feel worse when he had an accident. Instead they tested further and so glad they did! The Doctor - his words” God gave him a gift and he is here to use it!” The lady who gets the trash in the rooms came in to do so and didn’t realize the doctor was in there and apologized. The doctor said,” oh don’t apologize, I’m glad you’re doing this job- thank you!” You don’t see that a lot from doctors and that warmed my heart more! Because of that doctor and the many nurses is the reason why I still have a dad and my kids have a papa! He now has a pace maker and on the road to recovery! Words cannot express the amount of gratitude and appreciation I have for everyone at this hospital!! Hands down the absolute best!! Thank you all!

N.E. GA BARROW. Is 10xs better the when it was Barrow Regional. The techs, Nurses, and Dr. Are so polite, friendly, informative, and when you hit the call button. There not aggravated, or rude. There more then happy to help you out. There on top of your medications. Let you know when they or some one else will be in. The nurses and Dr. Are happy to answer any questions of your treatment. Dr. Parth Amin is very polite, friendly and genuinely caring. He explains in detail his treatment plan. Best DR. I've had in a very long time

I just have to say this hospital never lets me or my family members down! I brought my 18yr old son in this evening who was having anxiety and panic attacks which is something that he has never experienced before. He has had anxiety but not panic attacks and from the front check in staff and the nurse and dr he saw once in back were truly sincere and amazing with my boy!! I have been using this hospital since back when covid almost took me out and they are my go to hospital! so glad they are not that far of a drive either.

Excellent patient care from housekeeping to the doctors. The nursing staff & patient techs are friendly, caring, and are centered on the needs of the patient. The food was seasoned well & portioned well. I typically go to Braselton because that is where my specialists are, but moving forward I will start at the Winder ER. An 8 day stay and there was no change in my care or bumps in the road.

I went to ER on Saturday night and was admitted for further testing. I could not have asked for better treatment. Every nurse, doctor, and staff member I interacted with was friendly, compassionate, caring, and thorough. I would choose this hospital over Braselton every time.

I cut into my left thumb badly enough
at home I'm my kitchen that I needed 5 stitches, 2 of which were used
underneath my nail.
My nail had to partially removed and my thumb sewn.
There's more to the process but that's some basics about it.
I was able to get that done and be out of the hospital within about an hour.
My thumb has healed fine and I'm happy.

It was the most amazing experience I’m pretty sure they were remodeling because there was red paint all over the floor! The staff was so amazing there was a girl with blood falling from her head (I’m sure she was dead but it’s not their fault!) and I’m sure they did the best they could by being on their phones thee whole time. The doctor had holes in his gloves and told us a lady got fired because she didn’t wear any at all! 10 outta 10 would recommend!

Dr. Logendra and his nurse, Virginia, in the ER were amazing. Every interaction I had while I was there was pleasant. Even listening to the doctors, nurses and staff interact with one another was so friendly. I was seen quickly, all wait times (for blood work, etc) were explained and everyone was very attentive. I highly recommend this ER if you should need one.

Great physicians and nursing staff My Mother was seen quickly, provided a plan and received excellent care by the staff and MD! Their process to move you through the ED works well; people need to remember it’s an ER not a clinic. Great work NGHS Barrow

My patient experience was nothing less then 5 stars. My RN Lyunda (hope I spelled that right) who was very comforting. She consistently checked on me, let me know every step, explained medication and effects. She was so wonderful. CT tech was very nice, quick and effective. Even the guy cleaning the floors was very sweet.

Dr. Jordan Dow was absolutely amazing. He was very stright forward. Explained everything step by step and graciously cared for me. He listened carefully and took all of my concerns into consideration. He made great strides to figure out what was going on with me.

I appreciate the entire team for taking such great care of me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I have spent far too long at this hospital than anyone should and I have to say the caregivers i dealt with were the kindest and friendliest people. They treated me very good. Even the non-medical staff were great. I hope I never have to go back but I truly appreciate them all.

This was our first visit for a knee replacement and I cannot brag enough. Over and over the staff from
A-Z kept us informed and moving at a good pace. First the pre-op RN knew her (many) responsibilities like the back of her hand and was witty to boot. The nurse anesthetist was so gentle and they were all kind. You know, nurses are just special. They have such a gift to be caring and compassionate, especially the more seasoned ones. They kept me informed by phone in the waiting room from the beginning of surgery to time to close up the flesh. The surgeon looked like what you would expect; pristine in appearance and confident. As soon as I walked into my husband’s room there was a lady leaving from getting him set up, then came his assigned nurse tech, the lab tech, the X-ray tech, and the head anesthesiologist, then lunch time! Everything you need to assure your comfort and health was at your service. I would sum our visit up with a relaxing atmosphere, skilled professionals, and up to date equipment. My husband has been through a kidney transplant, quin-tuple heart bi-pass with a stent, cataract removal and eye surgery, early life knee operation, and nose surgery in various Georgia hospitals so we are familiar enough to give an honest comparison. This hospital should be the talk of the medical community if they keep this up!
