Dina's Family Italian Restaurant

This is certainly a gem that's hidden in plain sight. I had a chance to meet with one of the owners and enjoy the stories of the restaurant's history and passion for food. I'll let you in on a little secret... the chicken soup was unbelievable. Yeah, I don't usually associate chicken soup with Italian Restaurants, but the soup literally made me stop in my tracks and immediately order two quarts to take home. It was just that good.

They have a very nice dessert case too, so consider yourself forewarned. You will be tempted to try something. It's a losing battle, so just tell them which one and love to resit another day.

Of course the food was great, 5 stars. The noise was held to a very low level. The background music didn't force people to raise their voices, the nice wood work and multi dimensional ceiling cancelled the echo that many places have. The beer selection complimented the menu nicely. The servers were, friendly, attentive, efficient. Oh yeah, prices were reasonable and portions were very generous. Vegetable stromboli was top notch.

Everything we have tried here has been excellent! The service is top-notch! The variety of meals at Dina's range from Italian to Greek to burgers and pizza, and the desserts are awesome and not just a small piece. You get your money's worth of freshness and flavor. I highly recommend Dina's, and I am for sure going back!

This is a nice little Italian restaurant great little date spot. The minestrone soup was so good. The pizzas i got were the bbq chicken and the Greek. Both are just tasty as hell. I'll be coming here again to try the rest. So glad i stopped in. The desserts were the next level as well.

Just wow. Really good food and service. Our waitress asked if we wanted breadsticks to go! She anticipated everything before we even asked. The House Calzone was excellent and my buddy liked his lasagna (and he’s picky about lasagna!) It’s always busy here but I can see why.

Update : we've been back since then. Same great food and service. Only negative is having to wait inside the restaurant because it's always busy and you feel like you're in the way.

Recently had a great dining experience at Dina's. I found the food, service and atmosphere to be top notch. Even with a completely full restaurant, and line to the door service was prompt, seamless and comfortable.

I ordered the chicken marsala and a house white wine. The entrée included a caesar salad and warm garlic breadsticks. My entrée arrive right as I finished my salad and with a refill on my breadsticks I was good to go. Pasta and the chicken were cooked well and the wine sauce was nicely blended so that the wine wasn't overpowering, really nice. They have a nice in house bakery to choose from many of the Italian classic deserts. I unfortunately did not have any room left for desert.

I was by myself so I took the table in the back and had the fortune of being able to see the front of the kitchen. As a previous restaurant manager I can tell you that this is is a fine tuned operation and one of the cleanest front of the houses I've seen in quite sometime. House is at max but staff is relaxed, calm, and moves as a unit.

If you haven't tried this Italian gem in Woodstock plan an family night out of it and enjoy.

The owner is very conscious about her customers and wants to make sure every visit is pleasant. Delicious food and huge variety on menu. Desserts were tasty. Depending on the night you go will depend on your wait. Sunday evening was no wait at all. Friday night you had to stand in the doorway for 20ish minutes.

1st visit. Great service. My companion ordered lasagna and I had the manicotti Florentine. Lovey meal, bright and cheerful. I had enough Chianti to make a reasonable bill an expensive one. Calzone was good but there were other more exotic choices. Full menu with good looking pizza

Dining out is about eating delicious food and yet it’s so much more. If you’re looking for great Italian food done right AND friendly service don’t miss Dina’s Italian in Woodstock!
What a relief to know that the name change was just that. Same flavorful food with Eleni make her rounds to the tables to check on her customers. Eating here is like going home. Seasoned restauranteurs (Eleni and Ike) know what’s important. Thank you for serving our community well.

Absolutely wonderful!! My husband is a picky eater and we usually send things back, especially lasagna, but not here!! The lasagna is amazing! We are looking forward to coming back, burgers were highly recommended! Sweet lady!! Loved our experience!

Always good pizza. I love their pizza and find it hard to order anything else, but when I do, it is always good. They have a large menu with lots of choices, sure to have something to please even the pickiest of eaters.

One of the best pizza places around. Super friendly staff. Veal and chicken parmigiana are awesome.

Absolutely great! Great service from everyone including the lovely owner. Took the extra time to come and Talk to us and sample some of the soup. Amazing food on top of that!

Food was great, servers seem to have too many tables. Ours seemed to have forgotten about us a few times. Other than that things were great, we will definitely be going back!

Fantastic food and wonderful service keep us coming back. Eleni always greets us and stops by our table to say hi whenever we're there. My favorite is the Pollo Florentine.

First time here. Great food. Had the owners(?) Come ask us if it was our first time in and were very welcoming. They even gave us each a free cookie 🥰

Everything was freshly made. Soup and salad excellent! pizza great and everything was served looking good an appetizing. We will definitely come back!

My husband and I visited Dinas last week. When we went in the door Dina and her husband greeted us. You feel totally like family. They seated us and got our drinks. The place makes you feel really comfortable just like home. The food was out of this world. My husband ordered the cheese ravioli that comes with a salad. I ordered chicken Marsala with a salad and green beans. Our server was excellent. She served the salads first. There was ample time to enjoy them. When finished she cleared the table. Then our entrees were served. You were served an ample portion.
We were not rushed at all and enjoyed every moment.
We will be back to enjoy their food and service. We would encourage you to try Dinas. It's the best Italian restaurant. An A and 10 review.
