Saint Stanislaus Catholic High School

Saint Stanislaus is a great boarding school. The atmosphere is positive and vibrant. It is a very structured environment that has been such a benefit to my son. While stern, the staff is also compassionate and forgiving as one would expect of a Christian school. They truly make an effort to encourage my son to work to his potential. He has become more aware of other parts of the country and world because of personal accounts from people that he lives with at the school that are from all over. He is much more mature when he comes home from school. Most of all, he has come to understand the importance of goals and God's guidance. I am proud of our son's and our decision about attending Saint Stanislaus.

Saint Stanislaus is the greatest school in the region. The school's mission to foster character formation is taken to heart by all of the administrators, teachers and staff. My son flourished as soon as he got there as a boarding student because of the consistency and structure of the dormitory that we, as his parents, couldn't provide because of our busy work environment. When he got there, he made some really good friends and they are now inseparable! They really do form a close brotherhood in the dorms. The weekend activities also help to bring them closer together. They're so fun that sometimes my son decides to stay some weekends instead of come home. Although it was tough, I know it was the right decision to send him to Saint Stanislaus so that he can become the wonderful man that God made him.

The amount of knowledge and experience I have earned at Saint Stanislaus is priceless. Studying there is a fun experience in which you are eager to push your limits to achieve more knowledge. I would strongly recommend Saint Stanislaus for those who want to achieve great things in the future in a holistic learning environment.

I spent 8 years at Stanislaus, as a boarding student. Since graduating in 1965, I have donated each and every year . . . which should express the regard I have for the Brothers, all administrative and teaching staff, and the workers at Stanislaus. Lovely memories. A gem, right on the Gulf Coast!

Went to St Stanislaus from 2012-2016. The school and dorm experience were wonderful, the classes unique and the community very open and inviting to join. Once settled in, it became one of the biggest molding experiences of my life and has made me into the man I am today.

I was one of the lucky day students that attended St. Stanislaus. In my day all the teachers were Brothers of the Sacred Heart except for the football coach. It was a no nonsense school that instilled great values and the best education possible.

As a 3rd generation graduate out of the residency program I was very skeptical about this school upon entry my Sophomore year, but this is by far the greatest and most character building experience in my life. To contradict other reviews on here, there were regular room and bag searches, which is exactly how the kid was caught, if he was "glorified" and "above getting in trouble", why would the school be searching and expelling him in the first place? Not the greatest argument in my mind. The prefects were always there to put in extra effort to help me with both in and out of school issues, I was properly disciplined for my actions when I made mistakes, and rewarded when I began to mature and grow into a young man. My grandfather went here, my father went here, I went here, and my kids will go here. (Also, the school just had it's highest ACT score of all time this year, with the lowest scores being above Mississippi's average.)

Started at SSC in seventh grade and graduated in 2014. Great experience. Memories and friendships that will last me forever were made at Stanislaus. Go Rocks!

One of the few schools remaining where students are not a test score, but valued young men! The difference is palpable.
