We stopped by & was greeted by the friendly owner. We learned that she normally does food by reservation, but when she found out that we were vegan, she whipped up some samosas, 3 different veggie options (some of which the items came from her personal garden), rice, & roti. I love that that the food was fresh & flavorful. I have never had this experience at a normal Indian restaurant. The fact that she came over & actually had a conversation with us & is fellow gardener is also a plus. I usually take pictures of our food, but we were hungry. We also purchased some food from her store, & we will be back ❤❤

This place was SOOO good! You should always call ahead to make a reservation (everything’s handmade, so she might not have enough food). We came without a reservation and she had just enough food for us! Everything was absolutely fantastic, flavorful, and clearly made with care! Ria was so kind, friendly, and passionate about her life. Whenever I come to Columbus next, I’m gonna make sure to go here!

This place was amazing and delicious. The hostess/owner/chef was very helpful. You have to make reservations and basically eat what she cooks. We had curry chicken, butter chicken, chick pea masala, garlic naan. Spicy cauliflower, a somosa, and spicy cauliflower. My daughter kept saying, “This is so good.”

Fantastic food! Just give her a call and request a meal or walk in and she will cook it fresh for you right there. There is a nice grocery store selection inside. A few small seating areas. It's very cozy and very clean. She was very nice. Definitely a must try if you're looking for some authentic Indian food.

The owner is so very lovely. Her recipes are unique and very flavorful. I shop at the store when I need to make bigger family meals and all is delicious.

*updated on 11/21/19 - Had an amazing experience learning to cook Samosas with Ann tonight! Informative and really, really fun. We love you, Ann!*. My friends and I LOVE this place. It's like visiting a relative and having them cook for you! It's definitely a unique experience for Columbus and if you love Indian food or have always wanted to try it, this is THE place. It's very quaint, very intimate and the owner is so incredibly nice. The times we've been, there's no menu. They ask you if you would like a certain dish and they do a great job of describing them. Then, the food starts coming and just keeps coming until you ask them to stop! The samosas were particularly awesome. And if you have any specific allergies, they are so incredible at working with you - especially if you call ahead and give them a day or two notice. Five stars all the way!

I rarely give five stars to any place, but I would gladly give more to Ria's if possible. This place is Heaven! Very clean and cozy.
We didn't order from a menu, the owner just kept bringing one delicious dish after the other. Foods were bursting with flavor, just the right amount of spices. Although the Samosa was hands down the best I've ever eaten in my entire life, I am unable to pick my favorite dish here because everything was so delicious. My eight year old son even raves about the food. Loved the grocery store as well, it's clean, organized and bright. The varieties of rice, lentils and flour were overwhelming.
We expected the bill to much higher due to the quality and amount of food we were served, so we were pleasantly surprised that we ate for under $10 per person.
Ms. Ann, thank you so much for your hospitality, we had a blast, and can't wait to see you again!

Shopped here couple of times and had lunch once. Selection of Indian goods is great, we found almost everything we needed. Selection of buffet lunch is relatively small (especially if you are vegetarian and do not eat chicken) and prices are higher if you compare with another Indian buffet in town. But all dishes taste great and you get a feeling of food cooked at home. It worth trying, definitely. We will come back soon!

Excellent Chicken Biryani. She usually has it on Saturday’s. Yes, the food is a bit on the pricey side, but it’s worth it for delicious and authentic food. The owner is very kind and also carries a selection of grocery and produce items, I love coming here and highly recommend it.

I am an Anglo Indian who immigrated from England. In 9 years of living in the US, this is the first time I've ever tasted food that reminded me of my Mom's cooking. Seriously amazing, authentic Indian food. My only complaint is that I wish she expanded to bigger premises with a permanent menu.

“Best authentic homemade Indian Food away from home.”

Awesome meals served with a smile! Love this little place, I eat here every time I'm in Town.

The trio owners (Grandma, Mom and Daughter) treats every person as a family guest and feeds them with care and understanding like you are eating at home.

They use the freshest ingredients and change the menu weekly to reflect seasonally available produce.

The restaurant does not try to be all things to all people - it offers a small, focused menu that results in high quality food.

So it was my first time visiting this place as we had no expectations it has a small store and restaurant clubbed together. So you need to preorder your meal so they can keep it ready once you get there, it's a suggestion you call an hour before arriving this place with the food you'd like them to prepare for you. The quality of food is one of the best I've ever had so far, the roti's were soft and freshly prepared was like cherry on the cake. Overall a wonderful meal, and the hospitality was amazing. P.S - Do try their chaat and desserts.

Great customer service, great selection and prices. I like the uniqueness of the store/small restaurant. Since good is made fresh, do not expect to arrive early to eat just go about 1 to 2 hours after opening if you want to eat. Shopping for Indian groceries, ho anything during business hours

I always love going in to Ria's everyone is so sweet and helpful, for the people that need help with certain Indian dishes. They also make yummy lunch options. I highly recommend them. Best Indian store we've ever had in Columbus

Great Family Owned business that serves the best Indian Food i've ever tasted in America! Anne and staff serve you in such a way that you feel like you have come to visit your mother who keeps bringing you dish after delicious dish to try. I highly recommend the Samosas and Biryani.

We stopped here today expecting a little shack where we could just barely get something to eat.
To our surprise, it turned out to be one of the best Indian Food Places in USA. The Maharashtrian owner served all freshly cooked food that was nothing like any Indian Restaurant you find anywhere. Indian restaurants usually only have Punjabi Food and I was very much fed up of it. This came as a great refreshment. Apart from the delicious food, the way it was served was really like home. It was like visiting some friend's home and having his mom serve you with all the love.
I highly recommend this for anyone who is bored of the usual Indian restaurants.
10 out of 5 stars... Will go again!

Fabulous food. The food is served family style and this is a great way for people to try new things and find what they like best. Everything was great! Seems to work best for the ownership if they know you're coming as they make everything fresh.
