We didn’t walk all the way down to the waterfall because it was cold and we weren’t equipped with warmer clothing that day but we did enjoy the view from the parking lot and walked along the path to the observation area and was able to see the falls from a distance. One day we’ll head back and walk the mile down to the falls.

Why haven't I hiked this trail sooner? It is a dog friendly, visually pleasing one mile trail to the falls. There are some steep steps that my pup hesitated on, but he got them figured out quickly. The waterfall is beautiful. I will be back in the fall.

I have hiked this trail with just my husband before and then this past weekend, we took our 3 kids. Their ages are 11, 9 and 5. It was very doable with even the 5 year old. It is about 2.2 miles round trip. Make sure to bring plenty of water especially during the summer! We also brought cooling towels. There is an area to get down to the water to play. Just be very careful getting down there and back up. Make sure to wear shoes with lots of tread. We all wore small hiking backpacks to carry our water, sandwiches for lunch and snacks in. Bring sun screen and bug spray too! It was definitely worth the hike and getting down in the water area. We played in the water for a couple hours.

Absolutely gorgeous area. Great, easy well maintained hike. Total hike, round trip less than 2.5 miles.

A beautiful spot to go walking! We caught the mountain laurel at full bloom. The walk is mostly shaded with the sound of the waterfall most of the time. Coming back there is a slight incline, but total distance is just over 2 miles. A perfectly doable walk!

An excellent park with a nice trail to a beautiful waterfall. The park had basic bathroom facilities (no running water). The fee was listed as $4 per day. There was ample parking and the lot was paved. There was a nice, shaded picnic area where we enjoyed lunch. The hike is 1 mile down to view the falls. The trail was wide enough that we often let our 4 year old walk. No rails except for a few steep spots. The viewing platform was only partially open as part is closed due to repairs but the part we went to was still nice. Only warning, the 1 mile trek back up hill is a hike if the kiddos fall asleep. Well worth the trek!

Nice trail... Short walk down to an observation deck to view the falls. Nice place to take some good photos

A wonderful trail leading to beautiful waterfalls near and far. There is a wide path throughout most of the trail allowing plenty of space when passing hikers from the opposite direction. At the bottom there is a waterfall overlook platform that allows room for a few to get close for amazing photographs of the falls. The trail is about one mile out and one mile back. Due to the short and very accessible trail this can attract many people at once. As of Sept 2020 there is a $4 cash parking fee so be prepared for that or if you have a parking pass.

Outstanding waterfalls with a wide, easy grade trail and nice decking to overlook the streams and falls. Even the view from the parking lot was stunning.

Parking is a little tight given how popular the trail is, but there should be a spot along the driveway as a last resort. The trail is nice and wide and the incline isn't terrible but it is steep. The falls are beautiful and the river very clean. There are many places to kick off your shoes to wade into the water too. If you go onto the rocks be careful because they might be slippery.

Great hike, beautiful view. Just wish I had brought different shoes for the muddier patches on the trail. They’re currently doing construction on part of the viewing bridge that got smashed by a tree — but still plenty of places to view.

Dukes Creek Falls is a pretty easy hike and definitely worth the trip. At the end, you’ll find some great views of the water falling endlessly from the rocks above. Don’t miss out on this trail! Parking is self pay $4.

Moderate hiking trail! There's water flowing alongside the trail and it's pleasant. Lot of trees so there's shade if planning to go on sunny days. There are stairs to go near the falls and in the between the trail. Wear proper shoes for th hike.

The trail has a few stares but once you get pass the stares you will feel like you are walking away from the waterfall. Don't worry the trail will loop back to it. It is worth the walk just keep in mind you will be going up hill almost the entire way back to the car.

Beautiful & well maintained trail, the zig zags moderate the steepness of the trail.
Great look out area.
There is no access to the water, but a fallen boulder had the whole second part of the observation decks closed.

Great easy hike with kids, waterfall is worth it. If you afraid of kids, beware there's lots of people with dogs (on leash) and you might have to get close to them. Also, pay for parking in the envelope at the entrance, helps the recreation folks.

Hiking trail is well maintained. Tranquil and not crowded. Easy hike. The waterfalls are more impressive and larger than expected. Good for a day trip from Atlanta.
