We enjoyed our diner very much, starting by CC, she was great and made us feel at home. She was sure to help us with the selections as it was our first time. Kudos for CC! The food was tasteful and exotic, my selection was duck leg jambalaya, it was a good! My hubby enjoyed the house made pastrami sandwich that came with burger meat and Gruyere cheese. The fries were really delicious! We’ll be back!

They don't have the eye on the customer reflex.

I like the classic and relaxing vibe of this restaurant.

The porch was lovely and they had a thoughtful table arrangement where half of the chairs were in the sun and the other half were in the shade of the pillar.

The waitress was great and the people at nearby tables were friendly too. It was a great representation of authentic southern hospitality in a welcoming and well-appointed space.

Great dinner at Tap 1918! Loved the spinach artichoke dip - so good. Entrees were delicious too, nice ambience overall.

Absolutely fantastic food and service! A hidden little gem in Rocky Mount. The made from scratch food is heavenly! Scotch eggs, boudin balls, buffalo cauliflower, and buffalo chicken was so so so good! And a slice of red velvet cake to take home for later! Love the staff here, always smiling!

Always a wonderful experience. The pork rinds with queso are a must! Not only is the food terrific but the staff is professional and the ambiance of the restaurant is upscale yet cozy. I always recommend this restaurant to people coming to the Wilson/Rocky Mount area.

Our server was Marisa C. She was excellent!! Excellent dinner of Shepherd's Pie ( I paired it with a cabernet 😉) for desert carrot cake with burnt bourbon ice cream!! So delicious!! Will definitely be dinning here again!

Wow! Took my daughter here for my first time and hers as she was visiting from Alexandria, VA and boy were we blown away by the robust menu options! It was a Friday evening about 7pm and the wait was about 30 min to be seated. The environment was nice, there were TV monitors all over and old school music playing in the overhead speakers. My daughter ordered the Duck Jambalaya and I ordered the KFT-Korean Fried Turkey Wing. Oh, and we had the homemade pork rinds with jalopena cheese sauce. It was all delicious and very sizable portions! We had homemade key lime pie for dessert which was to die for! Hats off to Chef Justin whom we had the opportunity to meet. The service was great and our waitress was very attentive, thank you Anya! We can't wait to return to try out other menu items!

Caution! Times vary! The kitchen will close before the time they state on google so make sure you give them a ring before you go. We arrived at 9:20ish and they closed at 11pm. They were just about to close the kitchen which made us feel horrible but on our part, we had no idea. Without hesitation, they welcomed us to sit, drink and eat. We were out by 10:30. Service was VERY quick and they were delighted to serve us.. The food was very good and I’m sure it would’ve been even better if we had arrived sooner. We were in town for a late funeral and were looking for a good local bite to eat. Great beer selection, wide selection of food options, and fantastic service. Wish we could’ve stayed for dessert but we didn’t want to intrude any further. The bar stays open until closing time so enjoy their drink menu and atmosphere.

What a lovely place, first off, and he staff are very friendly and helpful, there is high seating in the bar area, I personally like the bar side, lower seating is available in the back room or the porch. The food is excellent, I had their moules frites and their cheddar burger, we also had the buffalo cauliflower, again and excellent choice. A nice beer selection too. Restrooms are clean and situated indoors to the side of the bar. Parking is just outside, not too many spaces but there is a large parking lot just down the road if you can't get in. Other things to note, there are five breweries around this place! So make a few hours of it and visit the breweries as well.
A great experience here with awesome food, we will be back.

Wonderful service. Great food. Great beer and craft cocktails! Love this place! Was the best meal on our entire vacation. Next time we are in the area we will 100% be visiting again.

We had a great time hanging at Tap@1918 for our date night.

We even meet the cook, Chef Justin Gaines (see picture), who was a winner of an episode of Chopped on the Food Network (Season 3 Episode 9)!

I had the Catfish and chips, which was very good (just wish the portion size was bigger) and my wife had the Chicken Mits Pommes Frits and she enjoyed it.

After our meal, chef Justin told me to try the Duck Leg Jambalaya or the Slow Roasted Porchetta, so I look forward to going back and trying some new dishes. Highly recommend to family and friends.

We really enjoyed our meal at the Tap! We were greeted warmly, seated promptly and our waitress was at our table within 2 minutes. Service was just right - not too overbearing and always there at the right time.
The house Chardonnay went well with both the yeast rolls appetizer and lobster roll entree. Speaking of lobster rolls, they were to die for - huge, tasty and just the right amount of mayo. Fries were hot and crispy - not too salty.
Highly recommend the Tap@1918 - we’ll definitely be back!

I hate that this place is no more, but I'm so happy I got to enjoy amazing food there over the years. I've never had a bad experience; the staff was always friendly, the other customers were chill, and the menu could not be touched! Cheers to the next chapter!

I went for the first time this evening, and the service was phenomenal and the food was even better. I had the pleasure of being served by a waiter named Alex and he was awesome. Definitely will be going back. The spinach dip was soo good

I absolutely love Tap 1918! The bartenders are great and the food is delicious! I recently had them host my anniversary celebration and it was amazing! I look forward to next year's event!

I really like this place. I am in town visiting and have been there 3 times already. The smoked wings are amazing 😁👍🏼 and plenty of great tap beers to try, and a friendly wait staff. Chef Justin you have a fan in me.

This was a great place. The beer was excellent and purchased appetizer fried collards and shishito peppers, yummy. The Reuben nachos were also excellent. I will be going back.

This place has a great atmosphere. It was very clean, easy to find, and the staff was excellent, and our server, Casey, was perfect. The menu is full of regional dishes, and their selection at the taps was impressive. We found it on recommendation of a local museum and it was worth the trip. Five stars. Would definitely recommend you try it if you haven't.
