Mare Sol

The food at Mare Sol was by far one of the best meals I've ever had! During EVERY visit, I get nothing but five star treatment! Kudos to the Head Chef, Anthony Rainey, and his kitchen staff for doing an amazing job! I will highly recommend this restaurant and definitely will be back!

Had a great meal here. Wedge salad, pork chops, and roasted veggies. Was on a diet so got carb friendly food and it didn't disappoint. Everything was delicious.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the host told us he couldn't seat us cuz we didn't have a reservation. Turns out he was new, there were plenty of tables and our server corrected him. It also took a while to get our check and water filled for some reason near the end of our meal. Otherwise, fantastic and I'd definitely come back!

A welcomed surprise for small town dinning.
We arrived at what is typically the slowest time of day for most restaurants and par for the course only 1 table was actively being used. We took our time deciding what to eat and our waiter was very helpful & friendly providing guidance to specials & customer favorites. We ended up choosing steak & blue salads add salmon for both of us. The wait for food seemed a bit long but we weren’t in a hurry at all. It was presented well & tasted great. Afterwords we had crème brûlée cheesecake & it ranks up there with some of the best. Definitely made fresh & we were even able to see bits of vanilla in it, unfortunately this is uncommon for “modern food” because it added so much to our meals that we would go back specifically for dessert alone.

Oh my - so good!! I had tomato bisque and a Greek salad and both were delicious. In the photo is my Greek salad and my friend’s meatloaf. She loved it also. We had a party of 9 and everyone enjoyed their food. Portions were fairly large. Service was great as well. Highly recommended!!!

This place is just GREAT!! The shrimp was cooked to perfection with cheese grits and flat bread pizza which was loaded with flavor. I highly recommend those two dishes if this is your first time. #flyeatreview

I have been to Mare Sol several times, and everytime I go for dinner, the service is excellent! The food is amazing! Perfect place to eat for families and friends, and also a great place to eat for couples on date night. Great place to eat for any occasion 👍🏻

Nice setup, with good selection of beers and a tasty menu. Plenty of seating to accommodate both large groups and quiet pairs. Casual enough for a light lunch but also nice enough to do date night. Service was great and personable. Just a good overall modern restaurant.

Best food I had during my visit to lagrange! You must eat here. We had the cranberry orange margarita, strawberry Moscow mule, watermelon tomato salad, beef spring rolls, flatbread, steak frites, smash burger, shrimp and grits, and skillet cookie

The food is always great. The service is always great. The pimento BLT panini is so good! It needs to stay on the menu. This is a class act!! My wife and I love this place. Every restaurant they are affiliated with is great!

We rented out Mar Sol for our rehearsal dinner. We had about 100 people attend, Jan and her staff did a fantastic job. The food was great and enjoyed by everyone. We would highly recommend Mar Sol for an event or delicious meal.

Flights For Food brings us to LaGrange, Ga to try some local Mediterranean style dishes. We had the shrimp and grits with the flat bread pizza, both were just amazing taste and flavor. This seems to be the hot spot in town for lunch. #flyeatreview

Upscale food that tastes as fantastic as it looks. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Seems to practice all health guidelines during the pandemic. I felt very safe eating here.

My new favorite resturant ! Ever since I ate here, I’ve been praying they open a location in Atlanta. The salmon dip is TO DIE FOR.

Delicious food, would love to go back and further explore the menu! I had crab cake, trout, and fried pickled okra. All very good!

We wanted America fare & this restaurant was spot on. I had shrimp corn chowder soup..that was delicious. Another vegetable dish was Too..much maybe could offer 2 sizes of plates.
Staff was pleasant & efficient.

This is by far one of the best places that I've ever eaten at in Geoegia, it's almost 100 miles away but I would gladly make that drive ANYTIME!!! Great staff, the owner made sure that we were happy and you can just tell he loves his restaurant, that makes a huge difference. I had the Filet Mignon with Demi Glace and it perfect!

Well... let’s start with the appetizer, muscles were fantastic. The beer selection didn’t disappoint. My Salmon was prepared perfectly... flakey yet moist. I’ve included a picture of the plate my Salmon was on cause one bit in, I wasn’t stoping to take a pic. The pork chop my wife had was fantastic. Our desert was excellent. My wife and I have found our new date night location. This is a tucked away treasure of LaGrange.
