Shiloh General Store

Stopped in to take home a couple of sandwiches-which were delicious (forgot to take pix). We ended up buying some preserved foods. Great visit. Staff was attentive & quick with sandwich prep.

Wonderful place to shop. Great selection of healthy foods and sweets. Excited to find a good old fashion broom, not sure Lion's Club still makes them. Friendly place. Recommend soup mixes and cinnamon rolls. If you haven't been there it's worth the trip!!

This store / deli was absolutely amazing. It took me back to when I was a kid and we would go to Pennsylvania to visit the Amish community and get delicious foods. We ate lunch on their extended that had rows of comfortable seating.
I had a turkey and cheese that was on their freshly baked. It was absolutely delicious. I purchase their store made rolls from scratch as well as a loaf of bread made from scratch as well! They're not open on Mondays and Tuesdays.

A great store with tons of homemade jams and jelly's and other treats. Great sandwiches. I guarantee you'll enjoy this quaint place.

Yes! This place is wonderful! We got amazing sandwiches and then stocked up on some unique sweet treats to take home with us. It was perfectly clean and well stocked with items you can't find anywhere else, like pickled mushrooms (which are delicious, btw). They have homemade goods galore, and the outdoor seating is the most comfortable seating you'll ever sit in. Definitely want to come back for more!!

Such a wonderful variety of Moravian homemade and fresh foods, etc. Wide selection of candies, snack foods, teas, coffee, cheese, oats, homemade canned food, butter, and pies and more. They also have a deli! It is a great place to visit and shop.

How do I even begin to say enough great things about the people that work here or the food that is produced here or the items sold?
From the largest selection of peanuts and dried fruits to the massive assortment of jams jellies and preserves along with an oh my God Baker's dream aisle filled with flowers this place is so amazing and the people so beyond absolutely friendly I cannot spout enough happiness about coming to this place.
I randomly found out about the store by watching a YouTube video on the Amish that live in Pennsylvania and the narrator made a comment about this store saying if you're ever in the North Carolina area you need to come and see it.
So early this morning we got in the truck and drove over a hundred miles one way just to come try the fresh baked bread, donuts and to see what they had to offer.
Make the trip, make the time just do it you will not be disappointed. 💞💞💞

Absolutely enjoyed going in the store. They are also very polite and very helpful. The food in there that they have is amazing I want to go in and try their homemade sourdough bread and a sandwich. It smelt so good in there. I bought a half of a coconut cakeand some fresh ground coffee, southern pecan. Thank you so very much I will be back.

Delicious sandwich specials. All the ingredients are so fresh. The store has a wide variety of goods. Saturday doughnuts are the best around.

Amazed at everything this little store has. Rows and rows of candy and snacks, a deli counter, sandwiches, frozen pies, fresh bread…. We got quite a haul here. Nice staff too and only a slight detour from the route from Raleigh to Boone.

Amazing Amish General store. While this store has a bit of everything from clothing to cooking supplies it's main stay is groceries. They have a larger variety of pickled goods, baking goods, cheeses, meats eggs, baked goods, sweets and treats. They also have a fantastic deli counter that offers great sandwiches. Thier prices are great as well for comparison thier fresh deli meats cost about half of what we pay at our local grocery store. I would highly reccomend giving them a visit if you get the chance.

This store is incredible as heck! The Amish are doing it right! They have a wonderful and diverse selection of pickled goods, drinks, homemade breads, meats, candies, jams, and more. I love the Adirondack sodas they carry here, especially the classic cola flavor. The bread with sun-dried tomatoes is also a must. Can’t stress how high quality everything here is. Well worth the drive and your money. Do yourself a favor and come by the Shiloh General Store to shop!

They fix a great sandwich on their fresh homemade bread, with freshly sliced deli meat and cheese, with your choice of toppings. Sandwich and chips only $6. Great bargain.

This is an Amish store and it has all natural foods in it. Plus some good homemade cinnamon rolls 😋 and buns. Lots of candies you can't find anywhere else. I love the way they dress and they are very pleasant people 😍

I was reading an article about the different types of butter. There was American, which I don’t prefer and Irish, which I use a lot, European, which I’ve never tried, and Amish which I never knew existed. So I googled where I could buy Amish butter. Much to my surprise, it showed this location in Hamptonville, which I had never been to before and it was only 15 minutes away from where I live. So I headed there, I bought my butter and I can’t wait to try it on some bread and in my baking. I never realized there was an Amish community so close to where I now live. I grew up in Ohio and we had several different Amish communities around us, Walnut Creek being one of them! It truly is a small world!

Amish grocery store with deli and bakery. Saturday mornings are the time to visit. Best yeast doughnuts South of Batesville, Indiana. Great staff who are very nice and friendly.

This place was awesome. They had delicious sandwiches. Amazing selection of all kinds of goods. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

The homemade dish cloths are amazing. They don't stain and get every bit of gunk off dishes. The selection of homemade goods is great. Super friendly.
