Bluegill Bay County Park

Very nice park for a picnic as well as a quick hike along the river. We had the opportunity on July 4th to see the fireworks launched from the Wausau Airport which was a great sight to see.

This looks much nicer than what I remember. They seem to have put a lot of work into this park.

The playground has been updated. There looks to be quite a few more benches and picnic tables. There are several boat docks. The trails seem better than what I remember. (The last couple of times we were here, it was raining, so that may have skewed my perspective.) There are horseshoe pits here and also a volleyball court, though there was no net.

The forest loop is very nice. I wonder if they'd ever consider adding any sculptures akin to the Sculpture Park in Stevens Point. I would love to see that!

This park is well worth visiting!

There are a lot of Pokestops and gyms here, and several routes now. This would be an excellent place for Community Days and other events for Pokémon Go.

A very nice park with trails, fishing areas, shelters, a playground, restrooms (one with plumbing/electric, one without), and lots of wildlife. Plenty of parking, and easy to get around.

They just put in a brand new playground. There are covered tables and bathrooms. It can be a great place to lunch kayaks, stand up paddle boards etc. Or to take a nature walk.

Beautiful park with several short trails along the water. We saw every pond animal and a few others. Deer, turtle, muskrat, toads, fish, birds, and a snake, too.

We greatly enjoyed our family time at Bluegill Bay .

Great place to have a picnic and to fish calm and relaxing

Bluegill was a much needed quiet park to find some inner peace. The views are beautiful with some local wildlife milling about. The park is quite long so you can enjoy a nice stroll, share a picnic in the park, launch your boat or kayak and just enjoy the cool water.

Stumbled upon this beauty of a park! Nice walking trail, pavilion + picnic areas, horseshoe pit, playground and benches overlooking the water. Some wildlife came out to visit as well!

Beautiful park great trails

One of my favorite places to walk. I always see deer and a lot of wildlife around. Clean, quiet atmosphere which also doubles as a great fishing spot.

Gorgeous place to take a stroll around the lakes. Deer and other animals all around!

This was a beautiful place to walk and stretch our legs. There is a path around the water. Short hiking trail thru the woods. People were catching fish and it wasn't too crowded.

Beautiful park for picnics! Has a big pavilion and grilles. Also a sand volleyball court. No net.

No skating rinks open yet in this cold Covid climate? Couple of energetic families cleared a spot for you. Smooth as if a Zamboni just passed by.

Many places to roam. Beautiful views everywhere.
