My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Southwoods since 1995, and our grandpupper is now a patient there as well. The service is top-notch, and the genuine care and concern all employees show for our pets can not be beat. If you are not sure where to take your pet, PLEASE give Southwoods strong consideration. You will not regret it!

They were kind enough to schedule me same day as a new client. My cat Loki got into dog kibble and couldn't stop vomiting throughout the night, into the day. They did a fantastic job handling a difficult cat and exhausted owner. Thank you guys.

Everyone involved from the front desk to behind the scenes is great! The Dr we saw was fantastic. She answered all of my questions & was very patient with us!

I’m so happy that I was able to get my 13 yr old seen on such a last minute notice. This was her first time ever being seen at Southwoods. I called and explained my situation about my past experiences with the last 2 vets and Southwoods was so compassionate about my concerns they allowed me to bring my dog in the same day under the circumstances. Dr McGregor and Lexi were so gentle and kind to my pet and I and I could feel the passion of dog love. I will be bringing my other 3 and when the time comes to put my sweet girl and boy to rest they have made feel really good about it… Thank you all for helping and making our day. ♥🐶🌟

I've been with Southwoods since 2003. And they're, in my opinion, the absolute best. A little pricier than most, however it's worth every penny. My little dogs just love them. In fact, we had to put my 15 year old miniature (phat gurl) down in May, abruptly,. They worked us in immediately and sent me a card that was signed by everyone there along with a hand drawn "You were loved from your head to your toes".

Worth it.

This vet made myself and my cat feel really welcome immediately! You can tell the vet and all the staff are very passionate about what they do here! The vet was able to help with my cat's gland issue and provide recommendations for self care. Prices were very reasonable and I was really impressed with the level of care!

I appreciate Dr. McGregor and all the staff, you've always been there for me and my fur babies and that means a lot to me and it really means a lot to me to see how you all interact with them, you show your compassion for animals, I love that. Thank you so much for your quick response when I needed help for my fur baby Winston. There's so much I am thankful for when it comes to treatment of my fur babies, questions I have and other things I want to know and a big thanks for understanding, accepting and consoling me as a protective and worrisome Pet Mommy, you all are truly the best and I highly recommend Southwoods Animal Hospital for great Vets, Techs and everyone there.

Dr. Timmons was a big help when I had concerns about my 15yo ball python, Mr. Noodles! Dr. Timmons and her tech, Sarah, were both very friendly and professional. They treated my old man with love and respect! They also gave me some great advice! Overall, Mr. Noodles and I had a great experience and would recommend Dr. Timmons and Southwoods Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a place to take their exotic pets! 💛

I can't express enough how much I love this animal hospital. They have treated me and my dogs amazingly since the first time I went there. My first visit was for a very sick dog and they were patient and understanding of the situation that I was in not only with the animal but financially as well. I have experience with Dr. McGregor and Dr. Clark and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet that is conscientious and thorough.

I just love everyone of the staff that I have had the pleasure of dealing with in person or over the phone! Their care and concern for my dog Sheba is over and above whether it's for a doctor's visit or a grooming appointment!!! The advice they've given me regarding my dog has been right on point!!! I thank them all for the kindness and professionalism they have shown me and my baby Sheba!!!!

Drs. MacGregor and Paschal are phenomenal and they and their staff (special shout-out to Taylor and the “other tech whose name escapes me but she has short red hair and wears glasses” :-) for being super awesome !!) clearly care so much about the animals; always deliver great customer service. Only criticism is the lady at front desk that normally checks us in is not the friendliest person. Sort of makes you feel like you’re a bother. Otherwise, always a great experience and reasonably priced (compared to other vets in the Greensboro area)

When we had to say goodbye to our sweet 14-year-old golden doodle, we knew without a doubt that we wanted Dr. Tyler Myers to help Jake make the transition. Dr. Myers took her time explaining the process and was very compassionate towards Jake and our family. She definitely made the right choice becoming a veterinarian and we will use her services again in the future.

Dr. Paschal is amazing! She treats my dogs with great compassion, she is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

This was our first visit here with our cat. The staff was really friendly, very knowledgeable and genuinely love animals! Our 25 lb cat, Sammy, now has an official fan club! Loved the vet. She spent a lot of time with us, did a thorough exam. This will be our vet home from now on!

So friendly and spent time with our Rita to make her feel comfortable. Since we just moved into the area we will be using southwoods as our vet. ❤
