Very small town passing through and grabbed some dinner , service was good , food served promptly tasted fresh and made with authentic Mexican taqueria style presentation. Building very old , inside could use a really good purge or cleaning there was a lot of stuff everywhere , we would return if ever in Red Springs area again. Very nice people working at this restaurant.

I've been eating lunch here when I can. I really enjoy the food and even when they are busy the food is still great. The empanadas are really good. Very crispy and full of filling.

Really good Mexican Food and excellent service. Enjoyed the salsa, chips and nachos.

We came in from Texas to do some work and had a late lunch. The service was great and the food was awesome!.

Stopped at Taqueria Leon travelling through Red Spring for work. What a great little find with original Mexican Cuisine. Service was fast and friendly. Pricing was great for a Lot of food. I recommend if you find yourself passing through.

Love, LOVE this place!! Its definitely our new taco spot!! I love the FRESHNESS they offer! Their wide variety of drinks is always a must try. The staff overall is very informative and kind. They do remain pretty busy, but still provide amazing customer service 😁 Always a recommendation when in Red Springs!!

Omg they're sopes are some of the best that I've ever had. Love the authentic flavors and dishes. Smells like a true abuella kitchen.

Its a good place to come and eat authentic Mexican food but the down side is that there not open if Mondays. The food tastes amazing and the service is good and the wait time for food is reasonable. Overall a great spot to eat I recommend eating there.

I know the family that owns this store and they are always nice. The food is always good hot and fresh and they always give us chips and salsa with our to go orders. I definitely recommend this restaurant located in this small town.

Phenomenal food , clean the atmosphere your transported by the aromas of the kitchen to another realm. I would say it’s a hidden Gem here in North Carolina. The tortillas are made fresh everyday by the host. The entrees coming out of the kitchen are mouth waters both in aromas and presentation. The prices are family friendly. The number 1 thing for me was the Horchata made from scratch ! Which I have found extremely hard almost distinct into I came to the establishment. A must for culinary experiences.

The space might be small, but the food is amazing. I never thought I would find good Mexican food in N.C. I thought those days were left back at fort Huachuca. So happy I was wrong. We were half way through my meals before anyone thought about taking a picture. Lol so my picture does not do the food or the place justice.

If you want great Hispanic food this is the Place to go. Don’t come here to order wings or American food just go to McDonald’s or somewhere else. But, this place is amazing if you really want to try some real authentic Hispanic food.

We love Taqueria Leon. The staff are all extremely kind and patient. This is one of our favorite places to eat as a family because we can sit outside on the patio (they have a couple of picnic tables) and it allows our 2-year-old and 4-year-old a little more freedom. Their food is always delicious, the fajitas are the best around and the shrimp tacos and the sauce they come with are phenomenal. The kids meal options are plentiful, and our boys really enjoy the quesadilla and rice option. Service is prompt, chips and drinks are always refilled in a timely manner (even with us being outside). I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Absolutely fantastic! It's the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been too, and I've been to restaurants all over the country. It's a little hole-in-the-wall, with about 10 tables. They have a salsa bar, and a small outdoor dining area. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are large.

Just left this place. It was delicious, a great size amount enough for two people.

Amazing food. Worth the drive every time. Our family eats here as often as we can. Fresh salsa bar and small patio for outdoor dinning. Full 5 star rating!
