Tried to work with this company on a listing only to be told that the listing, which is still up, was not correct. Instead of a 3 bedroom 1 bath on 30 acres they decided to break the parcels down and sell two separate parcels, and not the house!?!? The lady I spoke to on the phone was abrupt and unapologetic about the fact that they're still listing a property for sale under false information. Buyer beware that you dont also get the bait and switch.

They discriminate against renters! According to the fair housing act you are not allowed to have different standards for renting based on race, age, and of particular importance national origin. As you can see (in the photo attached - for some reason it was removed so I am attaching again and mentioning this in case they decide to remove my photo) they have different standards based on national origin. By the way my phone number is domestic and I was born in the united states so I was discriminated against based on race and they used this bogus excuse to keep me from renting with them. I have confirmed twice with homeaway that my phone number is indeed domestic and shows up correctly. I have also confirmed with two former property managers that I booked with that my phone number is domestic and shows up correctly. I have audio recordings of this. I also find it odd that if the basis is that my phone number is international...why would they request a US issued ID. They specifically say US issued ID. That doesn't make sense to me. It sounds more like they freaked when they saw a latina name and were like let's make sure she's a citizen which unfortunately happens all the time especially in areas like Appalachia. Don't give them your business! Also VRBO and HomeAway have not done anything to rectify the situation. I submitted a complaint and they want me to work it out with the property...no thanks.
