Flight Deck Restaurant

Nestled in downtown Lexington, South Carolina, this restaurant is conveniently located with ample parking. We were here for kids birthday party, and individually greeted by the owner as we entered the private dining room. We only had one server, and she did a phenomenal job keeping up, and being in tune to our needs. The food and experience was as great as it has always been in the past. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and neat, and all of this staff worked harmoniously. If you like flight memorabilia, this is definitely the place for you, but the overall experience is sure to have you wanting to visit again. Towards the end of our party, the owner came to check on us. We had a uniformed police officer with our party, and he personally thanked him for his service, and even thanked his wife for her sacrifice as a spouse to a public servant. We visited the adjoining arcade afterwards and the kids had a great time! Great business model that offers fresh food and friendly service!

The food was great my service could have been better someone else was supposed to be waiting on us and the girl that waited on us told him that he was our server. I wish the guy would have served us. Because the girls service was not up to my standings not that I have very many staying is but at least I would pay attention to my customers. By the way you have the best pizza ever we ordered my daughter a pizza and she absolutely loved it and she hates Pizza it's so soft and I absolutely enjoy that my husband did too the other food was great as well my husband had the country fried steak and I had the fish both were very tender. We had them for leftovers the next day because it was course it was too much for me after having gastric bypass and it was still delicious. The mushrooms were a little soft they could have been more crispy to my taste. But they were good. And the cheese sticks were absolutely wonderful! And for my strawberry daiquiri it didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it. I know it was a busy night on Saturday but they've had plenty of staff. I really wish the guy could have waited on us that would have made our experience 100%! By the way my husband love the red velvet cake. Yeah we spent a lot of money that night by the way!

Great place! I really loved the atmosphere. The servers were great. All the food looked so good I wanted to try everything. If I am ever passing through the area again I will definitely be back.

Always friendly, and the food is quite good. The atmosphere is one of a kind with the aeronautical theme and arcade. Great family environment.

Really enjoyed myself here, this is a place for the whole family to enjoy. The food was great, the owner was filled with a great spirit, and dessert was out standing!

Amazing service from staff and ownership. There was a miscommunication for our birthday party reservation for our party of 15 where the reservation was booked on the wrong Saturday! They were totally booked and we had to leave but then management was able to work something out for us. We stayed, ate the delicious food, and our kids loved the arcade center. Everyone was super kind and we even met with Ted, the owner, who thanked us for our business.

I try to go here anytime I'm around the area. The Blue Plate special has so many choices, but I recommend the pot roast. And if you can't find a desert you love there, you must not have walked past all those many cakes and pies in that case!

I visited The Flight Decked with my grandson recently and had a really great experience. Our waitress was Savanah, and she was exceptional. She rolled out the red carpet for my grandson and never left us wanting for anything for any length of time. The prices were reasonable and food was good, certainly not gourmet but it was good and we enjoyed it. Of course the arcades was a huge draw for my grandson. The arcade was not huge, but it was big enough and we'll maintained so that he had a lot of fun. He left feeling like he had a fun experience. I would recommend the Flight Deck and arcade for a good family outing

I've been coming to Flight Deck for years now, Ted was my soccer coach when I was little and you can tell he loves what he does, every time I've been he walks around greeting customers. The food is always great, I love the Blue Plate special and any of their sandwiches. The decor is aviation themed and my two year old loves looking at all the model planes suspended from the ceiling.

I got take out. I called in my order. The person was friendly and I had no trouble ordering. When I picked up my food it was ready and everything was piping hot even when I got back to my hotel room. It looked really cute inside and I would love to dine in next time.

I got a blue plate lunch with country fried steak, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. It came with 2 little corn muffins. I also got the chorisitos and a slice of lemon raspberry cheesecake.

The blue plate was very tasty. Definitely peppery (maybe too much pepper personally, but that's just a personal choice). I really enjoyed the chorisitos but I would say the meat tasted a little more like cheese steak than sausage. But still VERY good. I didnt love the lemon raspberry cheese cake. But that's because I was expecting just cheese cake. It had a thin layer of cheesecake on top of lemon cake and had a Graham cracker crust. It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting or craving.

All in all I thought it was a great experience, I would love to eat here again and dine in next time. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

Went for my birthday with my twin for the first time at this place. The staff was so friendly and the whole place was so cutely decorated. Food was really good and fast and our waitress did a outstanding job serving us. They even surprised us and sang us happy birthday! After dinner we all went to the arcade and had a blast. I def recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time!

Been coming here for years, maybe once or twice a month and never had a bad meal. The atmosphere and service has always been great.
This time I ordered delivery through one of the delivery services and still I was not disappointed.
I ordered the chicken cordon bleu over rice with Mac and cheese. It’s one of my favorite dishes from here. The flavor and portion is perfect. It was well packed and the the presentation was great.
If you haven’t been to Flight Deck, then you are missing out!

Ted the owner and his staff. Were very helpful and knowledgeable about the 75th birthday party. We had at Flight Deck. If throwing a party. Just call or go by, The food and cakes were delicious. All 80 something (people)just went on and on about the food and service.

My husband and I frequently take our 7 year old granddaughter to the Flight Deck Arcade and we have dinner there.
This is a totally family place or great for dinner dates. The granddaughter loves the arcade and selects nice prizes for herself and adult prizes for her parents.
The menu is lengthy. I love the Classic Greek Gyro and the Ribeye Steak sandwich (also available as a non-sandwich entree). My husband loves the Corsair sandwich and the granddaughter ALWAYS gets the adult portion salmon and loves it. All come with sides. The desserts are exquisite and easily the specialty here. Service is great. The Flight Deck is a real community gem owned and run by local folks in Lexington.

In town for a lacrosse tournament and wanted to eat out with my son. Looked on Google for a few choices and we selected Flight Deck based on the reviews and photos. We were surprised how quickly we were seated at 6:30. We were waited on right away and even the owner stopped by to ask how everything was. Very good conversation with him!

We ordered a dozen mild wings as an appetizer and a Flying Fortress for my son (big burger with bacon and cheese) and a P-38 Lighting for me (chicken burger with bacon and cheese) both with fries. Portions were great, flavor was very good and the service was fantastic!! The food was served incredibly fast and everything was great! We are it so fast we didn't get photos of it!!

There were lots of desert options like cakes and amazing looking cookies as well as candy. We didn't get any but they looked really good!!

This is a fantastic family place that has good food, great service and fantastic atmosphere.

Next time in town or driving by we will stop in!!

Stop by with my 10 yrs old daughter and she loved everything! We stopped by and grabbed cookies on our way out .
Oh and can't forget the Arcade ! She had a blast on a Monday and is asking when we can go back!!!

An awesome unique experience with military aviation theme. Food quality was excellent with great proportions and fair prices. I had Chicken Stir Fry with a side salad and it was fantastic. We had 5 kids with us all having mac n cheese and they loved it. The waitress, Isabelle was great and very attentive to our table. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Absolutely LOVE this place. The atmosphere is creative and fun, the owner personable and staff friendly. Then, there is the food. FANTASTIC! Great variety. Sometimes I'm sitting in another restaurant wondering why I'm not here.
