This place is amazing and about as local as it gets for a breakfast Diner. Small location but big hearted staff and crowd that you will find here. The food is perfectly portioned, particularly for the price point and the staff friendliness will be sure to make you feel like you not just want to, but need to come back! Located on Main Street in Norman this old school joint is worth visiting!

💫 The Diner is a legit, throwback experience of the classic American diners of yesteryear.

💥 The food was great, coffee was better than I expected, and staff were friendly and fun.

📍 This place has been featured on The Food Network twice, and for good reason. Check it out next time you’re in Norman!

Cozy old school diner. I wish there was more of these throughout America, instead of the large corporate restaurants that seem so commonplace. Ordered coffee, brisket hash with over easy eggs, and a side of bacon. Did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the service was perfect, even the cook asked what I thought of the food. This is one spot I will frequent in my travels, as it isn’t too far off the beaten path for me.

Came here on our second day stay for a college visit. And truly enjoyed breakfast! Perfect portions and super delicious ! I had the skinny breakfast and was so yummy and their pancakes are the best we’ve had ! Service was prompt, friendly and very attentive! You won’t regret eating here!

We visited from out of town and had to check this place out. It is a small restaurant, so you may have to wait, but it is normally quick. The service was fast and friendly. The food was great and the coffee was good. The only problem some may have is the size of the restaurant, but that is part of the experience and should be understood prior to going. We will visit again when in town.

We wondered into this little place on our way back to Texas. I had the B.L.T. It was very good. My oldest son enjoyed the club sandwich. Our party also had the blueberry pancakes and a hamburger. They were both pleased with their orders also. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and kind. This is a great place to stop and have a great diner experience.

One of the best diners in Oklahoma, the service is great, nice people and very helpful.
The place was remodeled few years ago but still keeps that timeless charm, now the best part, the food; just great my favorite thing is the biscuits and gravy, for the longest time I thought that was a crazy idea, I’m not a fun of a saggy bread (I hope that is how you say it, English is my second language) anyways, so finally I try it and it was fabulous and it became one of my favorite things. So to my foreign friends if you reading this I know it sounds outrageous but believe me biscuits and gravy is one of the best things USA culinary has to offer.

Cozy little place that has a classic diner atmosphere. Biggest burrito I've ever eaten! They gave me a free burrito because the cook made a beef instead of a bean burrito. Neither went to waste. Friendly service and lots of variety on the menu. Worth the walk in freezing weather, however my fiancé & i were here last fall. We'll definitely make a trip back soon!

Hometown diner feel. Sit at the bar and get the full experience of how your food is prepared.
Delicious breakfast/ lunch menu. Get the biscuits and gravy!! Home fries and the Omelets are prepared perfectly.
Can't go wrong when you start your morning here!

After years of having gone to college earlier and years of visiting since, I finally found an opportunity to dine at The Diner (meaning I was actually up in time before they close).
From start to finish, our staff was friendly and attentive.
The food was not only served quickly and fresh from the grill, but it was delicious. I had the tamale breakfast with hash browns and scrambled eggs with extra queso fresco (pictured below). I couldn't finish the plate as the portion was very generous.
And the atmosphere gives you the feel of a small town diner. It's almost like a small time capsule in the heart of downtown Norman.
5 stars across the board and a happy stomach.

Great atmosphere. Kinda like home. Friendly and very helpful staff, and they're great under pressure. As busy as they can be, there's always a smile and I never had to ask for a refill. Prices are fair considering the quality of the food

Amazing place to eat. Seriously, try out there brisket hash as a breakfast or lunch entrée. Their burgers are also to die for and the environment Nana sphere is amazing. You really get a feel for the vintage legacy this diner house. Over 100 years of serving the Norman Oklahoma community with awesome food and awesome service. Thank you guys

Absolutely phenomenal. The portions are very generous for the prices, and every bite is packed with favor. The Eggarito is justly famous. The peppers are evident but not overpowering. 100 years and counting for a reason.

Came here on a road trip based on DDDs recommendation and wasn’t disappointed! Best Burrito I ever had with the friendliest staff! It’s amazing what they do in such a tiny kitchen!

Food was phenomenal. Service was fantastic. Only hit is more so against city of Norman than anything with homeless bums up and down the sidewalk trying to come in. It made my kid uncomfortable when one guy came in trying to berate the staff. But they handled it professionally.

Found this place after some of the other, more popular breakfast places on Main Street were long waits. Food was amazing, and service was the most attentive we have had anywhere in Norman and OKC.

Wow!!!! All I can say is WOW! I had chicken fried steak breakfast that came with hashbrowns, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Everything was perfect. My wife ordered the blueberry pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. Oh my goodness it was amazing. The eggs were perfect. The cook and his assistant were like a well oiled machine. The food was sooooo good. We will definetly come back.
