Nice park. They have a pavilion and some great things for kids to do. The pool is right next to this and is open in the summer.

What an awesome little Park in Burnsville North Carolina! They had workout stations with sit-ups Pull-Ups all kinds of different exercises to keep you fit nice little Pavilion and a play area for kids as well and a swimming pool very Progressive typo park for a small City. This is the view of the mountains from the park

I went to an event in one of the shelters at the park. It was the larger one, and there is a smaller one in the playground area. It was clean and pleasant. Lots of room with multiple picnic tables.
I didn’t visit the playground area but it looks like it’s a great place to take your kids to play.
And there’s a county pool next door.
All managed by the Yancey County Parks and Recreation Department.

Low rating based on park prior to recent upgrades! This park is great and easily my grandkids favorite! Shady, exciting, plenty of picnic opportunities and a pool close by! Great investment by Burnsville! A plus- exercise equipment for adults!

I love the renovations they are doing to the park. I can not wait to see how it looks when they get it all finished. Living in Burnsville we always have get togethers there so many a memory has been made at this park. It feels so good to see the county fixing it up.

Great place to go and have fun! Bring the kids and pets! There are covered tables, basketball 🏀 court, and volleyball 🏐 net. There is something for everyone! Family-oriented.

It has a very pretty view. There's seating/tables for eating there, a workout area and a nice play area for the kids.
