If you wanna just get away for about an hour, go here. Take a backpack with snacks and water cause you’ll be outta no where for a while. It isn’t too baby friendly cause of the high rocks and all. But kids 4+ I’m sure will be fine. We love it here and always have a good time :)

One of our favorite hiking places. Such a great example of natural Oklahoma beauty! Bluffs, prairie, springs, wildlife, a pond, even a few small caves.

Very nice place to go hiking. At the top has an open field. Keep hiking and you'll see some very cool cave formation and cliffs.

If you're looking for a great place to hike that's close to home, I highly recommend redbud. Beauty all over and one of my favorite places in the tulsa area

Cool little trails to do a quick hike on or stay on the loop and investigate different spots.

THE BEST HIKING close to Tulsa. Way better than Turkey Mtn, although it's a lot smaller. You could do the whole trail twice in an hour. But the trail is so lovely, and I love climbing all over the rocks. More wildlife here, and it's sometimes otherworldly when you descend into that rock cave area. I love it.

Red Bud is exactly what you expect it to be, nothing more, nothing less. It's a fun well maintained trail. A quick little jaunt from Tulsa, and you'll find the little gem tucked away. Rocks can be slippery in the winter or after rain but you can still get around fairly well. The open prarie parts of the trail have yhe sun beaming right down on you so don't be naive like me, take the extra water!

Lovely walk, little rocky, nice even in summer. Get in early, very friendly docent. Bathrooms are covid clean! About 45 minutes to walk if you meander.

We picked this beautiful fall day to hike here for the 1st time...no dogs are allowed .. however...if you have a service dog they're allowed just as long they have their service vest on :)

Our kids enjoy the steep terrain and climbing up the rocks. Parts are rather challenging so a walking stick is helpful if you aren't as nimble as a kiddo.
