A very nice place! The staff is amazing and very welcoming. I enjoyed my cod sandwich very much. Will definitely visit again when I’m in town!

Really good food. Got a double old fashioned. Had the crab cakes for an appetizer. My French onion soup and Cobb salad were great. Hubby had a filet and said "delicious".

Great place for a nice dinner or lunch. The service was great with very personable people who were on spot with attention and help. The food was just as good. All breads and rolls and scratch made and they are wonderful. My French Dip sandwich was on a crunchy hogie bun and was delicious. My daughter's salad with grilled ahi tuna was as fresh as could be and the tuna cooked just right. Kinda sad I haven't been there sooner, but will definitely be back.

This review should be 4.9 stars! The only negative is the service was too good! We were checked on multiple times and we like to take our time and savor our food. The food was amazing! We feasted on steak, ahi tuna, cajun shrimp and fresh bread. All cooked perfectly. 5 stars! My old fashioned was perfect too. It's no wonder they've been in business so long. The Palm's knows how to do it right!

Thank you fellow reviewers, this place was on point. Honestly I was a little nervous when I pulled up as it looked like a dive bar, but omg the food was top notch. I decided on jumbo shrimp grilled (over wood and the flavor was outstanding) and of course cheese curds since I'm here visiting the state. Loved they were so lightly battered and pretty much melted in your mouth. I also got the Prime rib French Dip, probably the best I've ever had, and that's my go to sandwich at restaurants so I feel like I'm a professional in that department lol. Definitely would recommend

I ordered the roasted red pepper soup and butternut squash ravioli. Both were amazing. Service was good, waitress was friendly. Interior was nice and felt clean. Definitely recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed eating here. Love the round bar. My meal was excellent - blackened salmon with butternut squash ravioli.

My boyfriend loved his ribs. The amount of meat on the ribs is amazing and they are fall off the bone, it is completely worth the price. Highly recommend. Our server was great too.

This place is honestly one of my favorite places to get a stake. The grill they use reminds me of the days I used to work at Hereford and Hops and how the stakes would come off just the way you’d like them to, which when I asked for Med-rare that’s what I got.
The only check for me would be that the buns were a little too toasts for our two boys but otherwise the burgers tasted very good.

Always good food and good service. A traditional style Wisconsin Supper Club. Very good Olde Fashioned's, made to order. Both beer-battered cod and "poor man's lobster" were cooked perfectly. The roasted, baby red potatoes are always amazing.

Service was excellent! You could tell the staff enjoyed their work and it showed in how they treated the patron. Food arrived in a timely fashion. We are not rushed to leave.

The Rib was grilled to perfection! Home made bread beautiful crust and great flavor, great drinks, bartender was fun and prompt with refills and great conversation! What a great place!!

Best Old Fashions and bar tender busy but she was right on our order if drinks in no time. Two of us had ribs they were so moist and tasty! Baked potato was nice size, little butter and salt made it even better. Side salad is one salad that is no longer served at most restaurants! The lettece, tomatos, egg & onion was great! Two husbands had Prime Rib and said taste great and nice size too .

Had the prime rib and twice baked potatoe. Wow just amazing!! But what takes this place over the top is not the ice cold mix drinks that are made great also! But it is the honey they put right at the table for the fresh baked bread who does that? Yep they do and I think that is awsome!!:)

Had a party of 4 and everyone enjoyed the food. Ribs, lobster & Walleye were great. Service from waitstaff and bartender was wonderful. Would definitely go back again.

This place is WONDERFUL! We love trying new places and we were in Wausau for the WEMSA conference because my husband was voted Dispatcher of the year. We chose this place as our date night for the weekend. The bartender was amazing and was attentive. We only had to wait about 25 minutes for a table, which isn't bad for a fish fry Friday. Our Server was Awesome and made sure we were good a few times and didn't not overly check on us. The homemade bread before our food came out was heavenly and made everything feel cozy. It took not long at all for our food to arrive and the candle warmed butter dishes made us smile. Everything on our plate was so delicious and we kept eating till we couldn't eat anymore. Generous portions and the best seafood we have had in a long time. This is definitely the place to eat and enjoy your company that you are with.

Spent the night in Wasau and were hankering for a good supper club, and Palms didn't disappoint.

It was evident by the number of cars in the parking lot, that this was the place to be, and it was.
The hostess informed us that they were out of prime rib, and she was extremely apologetic.
I had the beer battered jumbo shrimp and my husband had the tenderloin.
Both meals were excellent!
My shrimp was lightly battered and not heavy, just the way I like them.
My husband's steak was a little on the rare side, and our server had the cook put it back on for a minute or two.

It was delicious! No steak sauce or au jus needed!

Our server was so busy, but she made sure that our drink glasses were never empty and that we were satisfied with our meal.

We loved everything about this place and will gladly visit again!

Fantastic appetizer bread to start, the Ribeye cook rare was clean, irony, and very moist. The shrimp had that perfectly cooked texture that almost brakes away plump and crispy.

I felt the vegetable kabob could have been more variety than just a onion, pepper, and mushroom for the cost.

I haven't been there in a couple of years and the food still tastes delicious as I remembered it. The service was excellent. Got our food & drinks in a moderate amount of time. If you are looking for good steak, this is definitely the place.
