Such a cute place. Stopped in to get a Cappuccino which was perfect. Also ordered a spicy Chai latte- man oh man it was sooooo good. Such a welcoming and cozy place. So many people in and out and everyone is super friendly. Upstairs has room to sit and visit. We will definitely go back. Don't change- ever , please.

The best cafe and coffee shop in the area! Organic and healthy options for lunch, like several salads and sandwiches to choose from, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and an array of pastries, cakes, and coffees. Go upstairs for a quieter experience. The staff bring your order to you.

Made a quick pit stop here before I went hiking last weekend. Ordered the sausage breakfast burrito with a peach and ginger hot tea. The burrito was on the smaller side but the quality was there. Since the burrito and the tea combined was also less than $10, I found it was fairly reasonable. Do expect to wait at least 30 minutes for the food though. This is probably due to the fact that it was getting busy or they are more than likely running out of a smaller kitchen with limited staff. They have limited seating downstairs but more seating upstairs. I'm a sucker for the exposed brick design that is featured upstairs along with the wood floors and tables. Definitely a cool little spot to check out if you are in the area.

Ordered breakfast and coffee, a plate breakfast for hubby and a bacon, egg and cheese wrap for me. The coffee was very good and the food was delicious. Loved the historical ambiance of the building and unique table supports upstairs. Hubby went back later for chocolate chip banana nut bread that he saw on our way out. We had it for a snack this evening and it didn’t disappoint!

We found this magnificent breakfast place our last day in Burnsville, NC. Had we found it sooner this would have been our daily breakfast place.
I had the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. It was the build your own. The bread was grilled perfectly, the tomatoes and avocados very fresh. My husband enjoyed his wrap with a great tasting dark Java!!! This place is not a breakfast only joint. They also serve salads & other food and an amazing array of pastries. We took ordered their lemon cake to go and regretted ordering only one slice. It was fabulous. If you visit Burnsville do not miss out on this great place.

We went here for coffee this morning. This place did not disappoint. The atomsphere right off the bat was great. Great attitudes and friendly service. The place was so clean and well kept.
This was the best coffee we had before. The latte with almond milk, and carmel was amazing! My husband got a latte with half and half with white chocolate. He was blown away by its texture and flavor.
We also got some cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies! The cupcakes are dense and moist! Cookies are huge and have a nice crunch.
Definitely recommend for anyone to try! We will be coming back for sure.

Was just passing thru on a road trip in the area. The ladies in there are very sweet, a lot like the treats they have. If I'm in the area again I'll be back. Coffee was also very good

Man, this place is good! Visiting from out of town and we went twice in the same weekend. Everything we got was delicious and the service was friendly. But those cinnamon rolls are on another level! Hats off to whomever made those. 🤤

Quaint, little coffee shop. I've taken both of my daughters here for breakfast on one our "daddy-daughter dates". It's nice and quiet, and the food's great. My wife and I also enjoy it quite a bit as one of our places to grab a bite to eat and enjoy a cup of coffee with dessert.

Quaint little Cafe with delicious food and coffee beverages. I had the chicken salad sandwich on their homemade sourdough bread and it was excellent. Also stole some of my wife's Cobb Salad which was great.

Also dog friendly with great service. Nick (?) was fantastic, keeping both our group and our dogs well watered.

Great coffee shop with friendly service and even better coffee/food options. Whether you get a regular coffee, specialty drink (pumpkin spice and fireside are my favorite), one of their bakery items, or breakfast, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely little coffee shop, excellent menu, local made baked goods, the dirty chai over ice and oatmeal creme pie are amazing! Lots of seating upstairs.

It's a little coffee shop, but they sell salad and sandwich too. We try the house salad, turkey and chicken sandwiches. All taste good, the turkey sandwich is very delicious and you must try.

What a gem! This shop is adorable - definitely worth sitting outside, but there's great indoor seating options, too. Food is delicious, coffee is superb. Don't skip a visit (or 3) when you're in town.

I really liked this place. The coffee was tasty and the baked goods were excellent. I had a latte and a cinnamon roll. It was maybe the best one I've had other than homemade. I got a jumbo cookie to go. It was amazing. My favorite type of chocolate chip cookie, which is a bit crispy. I was disappointed that I couldn't get the steel cut oats with banana and walnut because they said the wait on food was 45 mins.

Right next to the Something Special Gift Shop is a coffee shop, cafe, donut shop that has the best custard filled donuts I have eaten in my 70 years of food addiction. Finding this cafe was one of the highlights of our Burnsville visit from where we were staying in Little Switzerland just 25 minutes away. Burnsville town leaders like owners of this shop have preserved the charm and character of a 200 year old small town better than any I have seen across the USA. Just a few feet from the shop is a town center square with benches under 100+ year old shade trees providing a park like setting suited to a movie set. We had our donuts and coffee sitting on the bench in this idyllic setting with our 5 pound Yorkie, who shared the donut with us. A true hidden gem just 45 minutes NW of Asheville, NC, this family business epitomizes American family life and small business ownership. If you love great coffee and donuts visit this cafe and historic town. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing coffee shop and great for travelers in town for long weekends with everything else closed on Sundays and Mondays!

We had the quiche, BYO breakfast sandwich, an espresso and an Americano. All absolutely DELICIOUS! They also sell ground and whole bean bags of the coffee they’re serving plus t-shirts, hats, and local hot sauce.

We ordered online so we could pick up our food and start our day of activities while on vacation and the only bummer was they waited until we arrived to make the coffee so we still had to wait maybe 10 minutes but I understand if they didn’t do this people may complain their coffee got cold. If we didn’t have other coffee shops we wanted to try while visiting we definitely would have come back twice this trip!

First time here. The entire staff was attentive without smothering. I had one of the best reubens i ever had. The coffee was outstanding. For dessert, house made black tie cupcake and a wicked hot chocolate. The atmosphere was warm and billie holiday played on the stereo . Ill be back tomorrow
