Hy-Lo Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

I’m checking out shortly but didn’t want to forget a review. This was a great experience. It’s a typical motel but the price is great, it’s extremely clean, and Pri at the front desk is the nicest guy. I only stayed for a night but he learned my name and took extra time to ask me how things were going and if everything was ok etc. I’ve never had that happen at a motel before. I make this commute often. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Just got here but already giving it 5 stars. The front desk clerk was very professional. Allowed me to check in 3 hours early, no charge. Other hotels wanted to charge $50. When you drive for work and camp in vehicle on occasion, it's nice to get your room early for the next day so you can get a shower in, use the microwave, and get your tasks for the day started. Other hotels said I would need to wait until 1pm, even though they said they had rooms available that weren't used the day before. A little common sense and customer service goes a long way. Thank you.

(Also the furniture and amenities in the room look brand new, high quality too!)

I should've read the reviews before booking it. We actually didn't experience anything bad at the hotel other than the construction. However, they did charge the $150 deposit and based on other people's experiences, not looking good that I will get that back. **** I see huge potential for this place. Yes, they have work to do but they did respond to my issue and followed through. Like I said before, we had a great experience here and I would stay, and recommend people to stay here again. ****

My experience at this hotel was wonderful by all measures. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with simplicity and warmth by the friendly staff the room was clean and remarkably comfortable, and the interior design reflected a refined taste. The service was prompt and attentive, and the restaurant offered delicious and diverse dishes. Additionally, the location is excellent with easy access to many tourist attractions In short, it was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler seeking a distinctive stay

We were so happy to stumble on this hotel. They had a room available and after long travels, it more than met our expectations. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast had something all the family could eat. The location was perfect.

Always stay here when visiting choctaw casino. Decent prices clean rooms and never had any concerns. Highly recommend

Staff was friendly. Rooms had refrigerator, microwave, couch, coffee machine, large table for working or eating, floor wasn't carpeted which I believe is cleaner, ironing board, iron and a comfortable bed. In the lobby was access to a computer. There was a gym, laundry for guests use, kitchenette, lots of seating and a waterfall.

Awesome place, clean and staff (Brandi) is great. Close to casino and definately worth it.

My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel based on location from the casino and the pictures of the room online. We got the King Suite with the hot tub inside. The room was huge, everything was clean and nice. This hotel is obviously around construction so I could understand why there would be mud and dirt on the floors in the hall. Which room service cleaned throughout the day. The breakfast was okay, I would prefer to get my own but it is nice they offer it for free.
My only issue was as a choice member I shouldn't have been charged a fee, but I was so make sure you know about everything.

I had planned on staying at Holiday Inn. Unfortunately, they were all booked up and unprofessional at the front desk. Disappointed, I ended up staying at the HyLo Hotel. When I first walked into the lobby, the smell of the lobby was very overpowering. The scent reminded me of a commercial public restroom cleaner, just awful. I liked the lobby's retro look, even though it didn't look the cleanest (first impression) possibly because they have a lot of construction workers staying at the hotel, who are working on the road right out front of the hotel, walking back to the hotel in their very muddy boots. Thank God the room itself smelled clean and it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable. Customer service was "Excellent". I looked forward to breakfast each morning while there. They offered a great variety of foods and drinks for breakfast. I'm going to choose to stay at HyLo from now on over Holiday Inn, any day.
Great customer service means everything to me, and that is what you will get when staying at HyLo.

This is a wonderful hotel! The decor was exciting and modern, the bed was wonderful everything is nice and clean, staff is wonderfully attentive and helpful...if I could give it a 6 then that's what I would do... great place

My experience for work was wonderful! I came in after working all day and Jenn always greeted me with a smile. She was always available for any question or need that i had. My room was always clean and up to my standards.
As far as the location, it’s a bit hard to get to. Lots of construction surrounding the area. I will definitely be booking again.

This hotel is so nice and modern, its a great example of a boutique hotel and honestly i was very surprised. I loved the art deco vibe of the room. The bathroom was very spacious and there was a rain forest shower head in the shower, can we say that was a plus. The room had a sofa, mini fridge, and a microwave. I would definitely stay here again, whenever I visit Oklahoma.

We had a nice room, nice lobby, quite,comfortable bed,& nice bathroom. Room was clean. We asked for extra towels & coffee . Desk clerk was polite & helpful . Only thing that would make it better is if that added a swimming pool. I have stayed at hotels that charged that much & they had an indoor pool . We were 4 mi. from casino where the concert was. Conveinant

Very aesthetic hotel with a modern theme. Right down the road from Choctaw Casino. There is an ATM located in the lobby with a cheaper service fee than the ones at the casino. Dog friendly with dog treats at the counter! The staff made us and our great dane feel welcome. The room was very clean ,spacious and had nice modern furnishings. I could tell a lot of effort and pride had been put into making the hotel what it is by the owners/staff. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area!

The hotel was recently renovated and our room was extremely clean and the decor is modern. Beds were comfortable and there was a TV In the bathroom lol overall I feel it was a great place to stay for what we paid. I recommend and would return to stay there again if I were to go to Durant without a doubt
