The food came out fast, and it was served hot. We both had the pulled pork plate which included 2 sides. The food was good, and good sized portions. This is a bbq/smokehouse restaurant. They do have salads, cole slaw, vegetables if you do not eat meat.

Stopped here on a road trip and were delighted to enjoy open mike live music for our Sunday lunch. Pulled pork was generous and delicious, lots of fries and large portions of beans and slaw. I added a bit of sugar to my slaw,( I prefer sweet slaw) but they were fresh and yummy. Server was very sweet and we were served very fast. It was very cool and foggy, but would love to return on a pretty day to enjoy their outdoor patio. Decor was a unique, but if you like off the beaten path type of places, you’ll love it here!!!

Excellent customer service! The kitchen made a mistake on my order (they put mustard on my cheeseburger). I really did try to eat it & ate about 1/2 of the burger, but just couldn't eat the rest of it . . . I really do not like mustard! Our server offered me a new burger. We really needed to get back on the road,so I told her that it wS NOT necessary. As we were getting ready to leave, she brought a new freshly grilled cheeseburger out to me (without the mustard) AND informed me that she had removed the charge for my burger from our bill! You just don't get better customer service than that! My husband enjoyed his order of smoked sausage & fried okra, & YES, we will be back.

We ate at Jim Oliver's years ago and I still remember how amazing the food was. There's just something about southern comfort food like shrimp and grits, greens, and bbq that make you feel good.

Our first visit was a year ago and I loved how authentic it was. The food was good and the atmosphere made you very nostalgic. Antiques every where you looked, someone took a lot of time in this place and I loved it. We went back to take our kids yesterday and found out they had a fire a few months back, I was so sad for them. To have lost so many memories, my heart hurts for them. They ate rebuilding and are in a place behind the old one. The food is still just as good. The waitress wasn't the best, she didn't think to refill our drinks at all unless we asked. I look forward to going back again. I am going to share the pictures I took last year as I think its important to remember what they had.

Our server was very nice and paid attention to us. The food was great, and there was a lot of it! The music that was playing was wonderful. We went in near closing, but never felt rushed to leave. I would definitely go back.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars! I loved everything about it. It does not taste like restaurant food this is true southern home cooking. I had the lunch buffet to eat, everything tastes homemade, Fried chicken, cornmill breaded catfish, greens, cornbread... After we finished eating a guy slicing meat gave us a taste of what he called brisket bark (it was one of the best bites of food in my life, I'm not exaggerating), he also gave us a pile of fresh sliced roast beef which was nothing short of amazing. Also they have a ton of different BBQ sauces I loved the original. This place is a must try.

Opens at 6:30 am every day. Closes 9:30 pm Sunday -Thursday, 10:30 Friday & Saturday. The breakfast buffet is $8.95. I'm not a fan of scrambled eggs so they brought me out fried eggs for no extra charge. Good service with lots of sauces, jams, jellies, marinades that you can take home with you. And you can't leave without stocking up on their handmade fudge. And for the dark chocolate lovers, don't miss their dark chocolate fudge. Usually available Valentines day into March. The gift shop has an eclectic variety that puts Cracker Barrel a run for their money.

Sad to say that the restaurant burned to the ground earlier in 2021. Nothing left but rubble. That said, weather permitting, there's still music and dancing outside behind the remains.

This is a unique place to enjoy some great BBQ, burgers and down home cooking. The gift shop has alot to offer as well. If you like fried pies and pork rinds....you need to make a pit stop here.

I love stopping in here on the way to or from Nashville and Atlanta. It's the perfect halfway point, the people are friendly, and you can browse around the gift shop and restaurant for a while. There's a small "museum" and music selection in there too. They have loads of samples up in there- fudge, sauces, WHOLE RIBS. It's a good idea to pick up a few items as gifts if you're in the market for that- jerky, sauces, spices, cured meats. They also have a totally awesome buffet and an ice cream counter.

We stopped by after having dinner elsewhere but had heard about the live music on weekends and the fried pies! We stayed for a set of music and long enough to devour a delicious caramel pie with ice cream! Amazing, warm, and melted in every bite. It was perfect! And to top it off we were blessed by the most generous waitress who waved off payment for the dessert and waters. We didn't have much cash on us for a tip but paid what we could! What great treatment of customers and delicious food. Will always return when in the area!

Had a really great meal with my wife at the Smoke House on Saturday, August 3rd. Loved all the different barbecue sauces and sampled them all. Really enjoyed the Crackberry bbq sauce, sweet and tasty! Cornbread was great.
