Top of the Rock Restaurant and Brewery

We had a wonderful afternoon here. Drinks and food were delicious. Our server was appropriately attentive and took great care of us. The views and atmosphere are outstanding. We walked across the bridge and took in the views. I will most definitely return. Parking was sufficient and restrooms clean. Our visit was a pleasurable experience for sure.

Food was as awesome as the view. The Spinach and Artichoke Dip came in a home made bread bowl and was probably some of the best I have ever had.
The Mahi Mahi and Shrimp and Grits were both fantastic.
They have a beautiful outdoor seating area with an overlook of the valley, and plenty of heaters to help during the colder nights.
The staff was very friendly and polite.

Just make sure your brakes are working well on your car, because this restaurant really is at the TOP of the mountain, and is very steep on the way down.

This place is so good. They serve the best sangria I've ever had. The old fashioned is also incredibly tasty. They bring a pitcher of spring water to the table so you can refill your own glasses. We had the smash burger and I'm sorry to say I didn't take a picture beforehand 😂😂 it looked so good I had zero patience. Also the spinach dip in the bread bowl was amazing, super heavy but so good. Margherita pizza on cauliflower crust, delicious. I've never had a bad experience here. The view is spectacular and you can sit outside most days because of the patio heater. Totally recommend this year.

Great atmosphere, great service, and great food!!! Must come back! BBQ Chicken Salad is amazing, Mahi was fabulous, Avocado Chicken was excellent, and also had Nachos...YUM!!! Everything was excellent!! And WOW AT THE VIEWS!!! Didn't get to walk across the bridge due to a wedding, but we'll be back!!

My friends, if you're hunting for a great Sunday brunch experience, look no further than 'Top of the Rock' in Jasper, TN. The moment we were shown to our outdoor table, we were swept away by the breathtaking views of the river and the valley below - a picture of serenity.

We started our gastronomic journey with brewery nachos topped with chicken, and let me tell you, they were nothing short of spectacular. We devoured every last morsel. Our delectable main dishes included the steak and eggs breakfast, a show-stopping Sicilian pizza, an absolutely divine chicken fried chicken breakfast, and a 3 pork breakfast sandwich that caused culinary fireworks!

As for drinks, the red sangria was the perfect accompaniment to our feast. Refreshing, tasty and just what the doctor ordered for a lazy Sunday brunch. A visit to 'Top of the Rock' is more than just a meal, it's a treat for the senses, and one that I'll treasure for a long time to come. Prepare for a brunch that perfectly marries comfort and gourmet... you won't be disappointed! FYI…they are in central time zone so take this into account if your making a reservation from GA or Chattanooga.

One note for RV travelers: do not attempt. The map is not the terrain. The restaurant could be better called "Top of the Narrow Treacherous Mountain Pass"

What a great find for us. We're from central Illinois and we were on our way back from a softball tournament in Florida. We stopped for gas and by luck we found this establishment. Great food and service and the Red Ale brewed on site was amazing. Friendly service, good prices and very clean. The views from up there are amazing especially when we were there at sunset. Can't speak highly enough of this restaurant/brewery. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Thanks again

We really enjoyed our visit here. I will definitely be back, our food was delicious. We both had the steak dinner. We had Miss. Addie as our waitress and so proud we did, she is awesome. She made it so much better to be there. We arrived at noon and it started to fill up fast.

This was our first time visiting Top of the Rock. It was a warm day, so we got to sit outside for brunch. My whole family enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Our server Abigail was very nice and even took a group picture for us. I will go back!

I expected this kind of destination restaurant would serve average food, but that is not the case. Their dishes all have an elevated twist and the portions are good. We had the naxhos for an app. The finely shredded lettuce and light & crispy chips were way better than your average bar food. The chicken quesadilla was really delicious. The Breakfast Burger is also very good. My wife loved her shrimp and grits, and my other daughter had a breakfast pizza - unique and fantastic!

Niw that i finally tried it, this is going to be a good place to take visitors from out if town.

Great place with an unbelievable view! Went up to check out the place and was not disappointed. Showed up and asked for a space outside and was shown to the bar downstairs on the patio. Great service, great food, and an outstanding view. Friendly staff introduced themselves and had several recommendations.

I ended up going with the fillet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I could have cut it with a fork! Honestly, it was so good I didn't even put down the fork long enough to take a picture.

If you're in the Chattanooga area, this place is worth the drive. Make the drive.

With a reservation for Sunday dinner, we were seated upon arrival and food was served promptly, fresh, and hot. The servers were friendly and the outdoor heaters were overly hot and toasty which enhanced the quiet romantic atmosphere. All the goodness is reflected in the price on the menu. I recommend Top of the Rock to all looking for a something special meal and experience.

Excellent service, great food, and amazing views. Top of the Rock has it all. Their locally brewed beet is also very good. Highly recommended!

Wow! I truly cannot say enough good things. Our amazing server Ava tackled our rowdy 9 top in the igloos. Ava provided EXCELLENT service! I truly can confidently say she is the best server I’ve ever encountered. She was kind, mannerly, attentive, and above all just cute as a button! The food was absolutely to die for as well. We will absolutely be back! Thank you TOTR and Miss Ava!

Clean tables, fabulous food, nice small selection of craft beer. Can't believe I haven't been here before.

First time visiting Top of the Rock. Had a wonderful time and lucked out when it came to avoiding the weather as well as the heat of a summer evening. The only reason I gave service 4 stars was because the table next to us told us they were waiting for tacos and pizza for a very long time. Our server also handed me someone else's bill after we had just ordered food from her less than 5 mins prior.

Well, being from Colorado I’m kind of a beer snob…. But the IPA is easy drinking, light note of hops and generally delicious. I had the Filet Mignon med rare with mashed and asparagus…. It was perfect. The steak was flavorful and juicy as expected.

Also had the spinach artichoke dip and the shrimp appetizers. Shrimp was delicious, perfectly cooked and just the right amount of heat. I’ve never seen spinach artichoke done this way… extraaaaas cheesy with cream cheese in it and the bread was so good. Real big portion size too so plenty to go around on the dip.

The chicken artichoke pizza was surprisingly good. Full of flavor and the crust was fantastic.

Also had a build your own pizza. It was perfect and tasted fantastic.

The views driving up and awesome and even better one you get to the top and in the brewery. It was a lovely experience and the staff was great also.

The facility was really clean and well kept!

Updated 12/2022: still great food and atmosphere. The Appalachian tacos had a delightfully fresh taste, but not overstuffed with sirloin - the main attraction was the slaw and onions. The blackened fish tacos were bursting with flavor! Just surprised there were only two for that price.

Wonderful views and delicious food. Their pickles on the burger were amazing, wish I had asked for extra. Service was quick and accurate.

Our party of four had an enjoyable meal with a view. Our reservation was for 3:pm. Odd time between lunch and dinner but that was the only Saturday reservation available except for 8:30pm. Reservation was made approx 48 hrs in advance. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the smash burger. It was very tasty. Not huge but good. One of us ordered the nachos and had more than enough.

Great Pizza, Service, and View.
We enjoyed our lunch outside overlooking the beautiful view of the river valley. We ordered the Sicilian, and the Chicken Artichoke pizzas. The crust was thin and perfectly cooked, the sauces were scrumptious, and the cheese generous. Prices were reasonable too. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Grayson was our server, he was great, I had the chicken piccada, husband had fish n chips. Food was delicious, well definitely be back for a pizza
