Crown Hill Cemetery

It is so beautiful and very unique

The care of your loved ones was once an important loving task on Memorial day. Family's chipped in and cleaned around each grave with lawn equipment to show their love. Now they depend on the cemetery to do it which is fine but take pride in doing so if they didn't.

It's really quite sad to see the condition of this place. I'd love to find some people interested in helping clean it up, breaks my heart seeing how some of the headstones aren't maintained and even the very neat towers are dilapidated and trashy on the inside

I went to visit my grandmother's grave only to notice that it's so close to the street that cars drive over it (tire tracks to prove it - not lawn mower tires, CAR tires). And, I wish I had taken a pic, but there were stacks and stacks of headstones just sitting there needing to be installed. One that I could see from the car had a death date of 2023. Could they have just now purchased a headstone? Possibly. But based on the (at least 5) stacks of stones that needed to be placed, there's NO telling how long they've been there. You can't call them because it goes to vmail, and it's full. Has been forEVER.

For days I have been trying to get contact information to who is the owner or caretaker of Crown Hill Cemetery in reference to keeping the grass cut the grass is taller than the headstones it's heartbreaking if I could I would cut it in disabled my husband is there as of January 2022 and my brother - law for years the number they have don't work sent an email to someone on the crown Hill Cemetery websites he stated he's in Ohio, to call the funeral home for contact information.
