Claremore Veterans Center

We had a mad scramble to find a place for Mom when it became evident she could no longer live at home and being a Vet, she qualified. The rest of the family lives out of State so for them to accommodate us was wonderful. The facility is clean, responsive to my mom's needs and they call me any time something changes with my mother's health or meds. They appreciate the men and woman who have served our country and we appreciate them so much.

My Father was there for only a short time but feel compelled to leave a review. They are short staffed (like everywhere else) but the care and respect for the patients was obvious. They are completely undeserving of a 1 star review for a door dash order.

Our 99 year old mother has been a resident since early 2022. She has received excellent care and staff has treated the entire family with respect and compassion. Great facility!!!!

Wonderful place and great people. Our father is in the center and his health has improved greatly since his admission. We are so blessed to have him in there. I’d you can get your loved one in I highly recommend it.

I am giving them a 3 because they aren’t mandating Vaccines. Many residents died due to Covid and shutting down without requiring vaccines is an oxymoron.

The care they gave my father in law was a 10. Very caring and loving care givers.
Just, (keep your masks up)! Many pull them down and that is uncomfortable.

Thank you for your hard work and care. Just please continue the care and receive your vaccines. Your residents lives depend on it.

The misuse of positions, and lack of human decency is sad. However I’d like to thank whoever is due. The last 3 weeks have been a ball! I have truly enjoyed the time off with my family all while drawing my unemployment. Again thank you!

While doordashing an order at night I was approached by two overnight security guards harassing me for dropping an order off for a resident and was Very reluctant to take it to the resident. I was also informed by them that I wasn’t allowed to park in a designated area but instead of asking me to move they threatened to call the police on me instead and tried to force their way into my car. This could have been handled in a much better way but instead they insisted on being extremely rude to my girlfriend who is pregnant and told us to leave immediately due to an outbreak there (they had no face masks on while yelling/threatening us).

If I could give this place a 0 I would. My family does DoorDash and they are very rude and disrespectful to the dashers. Two security guards got in my face and was threatening me because of the way we was parked. We told them we would move and they didn’t care and insisted on calling the cops on us. They also was not helping when we was trying to give the food to the correct person. They kept saying they didn’t know that person, and they was mad about us trying to go inside since they said they had to many people come down with Covid. However they did not have any mask on and was in my face without a mask shouting at me in my car. The security guard had his head all the way in my car harassing me. This was very rude and disrespectful. I sure do hope that I don’t come down with Covid now because of him especially since I am pregnant. This place needs new people working there. Very disappointed.

I worked at this facility a few years back. It became obvious really quick why this place is always hiring. You don't even have to be certified as a nurse aide to get a job there, they'll give you in-house certification. That is how desperate this place is. It was almost like the facility scoured the local area for the most inept and laziest folks to hire for nurse aide positions. Lol Wow....
