Mill Street Grill

I was shocked at how incredible the beef tips were!! That is my new favorite and staple there.. The salad bar is always fresh and tasty!

My husband picked it based on the pictures without looking at the menu. When we arrived, we weren't sure-Friday night is seafood buffet night apparently. It did smell like like seafood when you walked in but my chicken didn't taste fishy at all. Our waitress very accommodating and the portions were fabulous. I ordered the chicken tenders appetizer and they tossed it in buffalo sauce. It was very tasty. If we are in the area again, we would go again.

A great spot for locals to gather. Food is good and priced fairly. Bartender Brent does a great job handling an always busy bar area. Haven't tried their buffets yet, but we plan to.

During my stay in the area (Sumter, Ashwood, Camden) I went to three other southern food buffet restaurants and Second Mill is by far the best. Large variety of food selections, Very nice dining area and exceptional service. I HIGHLY recommend.

The food was excellent and the service could not have been better. I was with a group of about 15 and the server was nice and cordial. This is was anyone should expect from a small town restaurant. The prices reflect the quality. It is not fine dining and the prices are for a buffet, all you can eat, are in line with other such restaurants throughout the South.

Excellent! Great atmosphere! There isn't anything here that isn't mouth watering! Sit at the bar and have a drink or in a private booth. Live music on the weekends and trivia on Wednesdays! Wonderful place!

Live band (on the night we went - Saturday) was pretty good! The crowd seemed to enjoy it, and they played mostly well known songs. The food was good and our waitress was very nice. It was a good date night.

First time here. We were very happy with the service, food and prices. We both had the lunch buffet and fresh salad bar. The bar isn’t huge but there was a good variety and something for everyone. I enjoyed my fried chicken, green peas and the Mac and cheese was great. My wife said the potato salad and chocolate cake reminded her of her childhood. The folks at the neighboring table had sandwiches that looked very good. We were very happy and will be back.

Great food, friendly service at a reasonable price!

I have eaten at Mill Street Grill several times and each time I have really enjoyed the food. Customer service is great! A little patience required for seating , that’s expected when the whole town of manning is there, and that alone tells you how great the place is!! Friendly atmosphere! Thank you to all there who serves us.

Their lunch buffet has a decent selection and for a great price. We sat outside , and even when it began to rain some, the seating was still accommodating to where we didn't have to relocate to enjoy our meal. Staff was friendly and overall it was a great experience.

Festively decorated for Christmas, live entertainment and delicious seafood/crablegs!!. The staff was friendly and Dallas was the best server. He kept our crab legs replenished, without our having to ask. Strongly recommend.

Checked out the grill after picking up out daughter from camp and it was a great experience.
The fried green tomatoes appetizer were delicious and I had the shrimp tacos.
The staff was great.
Highly recommend the Mill St Grill.

Cute little restaurant food is okay we usually go there on Wednesdays. However we don't know much about their specials

Love their wings! Went on a Thursday to hear the live music from Craig Varn. Great atmosphere, hanging out with friends both old and new.

Their chicken salad sandwich and the grilled pimento cheese sandwich are absolutely delicious.

The lunch buffet (11-3 weekdays) and their Sunday Dinner Buffet (11-3 Sundays) cannot be beat, as proved by the fact that I now get their buffets almost every day.

I love that their buffet includes hot food bar, salad bar, sometimes a soup of the day, bread and dessert AND DRINK and tax is included too. Due to the increasing cost for food, they recently had to increase the buffet price to $12 weekdays and $14 Sunday, but remember that price includes drink and tax, unlike many other buffets.

I wish that I could give Brandi's restaurant ten stars. Mill Street Grill is even better now than it was under prior ownership.

Had a great night our waiter was awesome! I think his name was Bobby, he was the only guy waiting tables. I had the fish/seafood bar. The clams were a little dried out and the steam shrimp were tasteless. But the shrimp and sausage sauce to go over the grits were excellent!!!! My family all had menu items which were very good. I got a Long Island Ice Tea which was not good at all, but I made the best of it( got a small coke to chase all the gin that was in the glass). My daughter's was sent back. It was remade by out waiter( I think they should let him bartend also(ijs).
The live music was on point had my kids and I singing ( we love country music) Mr Duffy( I hope I got it right ) was awesome. I will be back when he is in in the building..

This was my first time at the Mill Street Grill and I will be back.

I was in manning for a business meeting and it was postponed. I found this cool little place in town and decided to step in for a bite to eat and maybe a beer. The service was top notch and the management staff was more than friendly. A lot of great menu options as well as a nice bar with countless options. Mill street made my day much better as I had to stick around a town I’ve never been for a few more hours until my meeting started. Would recommend to anyone looking for small town quality service and great dinning options. 10/10

My job took the whole staff there today. We had a great time, the waitresses were very nice and attentive to us.
