I purchased my Chevy canyon at Long Chevrolet of Athens and had a very positive experience. All experiences with the maintenance department has also been positive. For the example, I recently took my truck in for a routine oil change and the maintenance dept took it upon themselves to check into a problem that hadn’t even concerned me. They confirmed and assisted me in making sure the issue was covered by my extended warranty, which it was. My vehicle was looked at and worked on from top to bottom and returned to me driving better than ever. Celena and Alison were top notch in customer service and keeping me informed.Duane, Jon, and Nate were amazing mechanics that went the extra mile. Now, the extended warranty group was not local and tried to trip the process up by asking for burdensome, non- pertinent information that was verifiable without troubling the customer. However, that issue was beyond the control of the great loca team at Long Chevrolet and everyone at Long did their part to help make the entire process easier and more customer friendly. I can wholeheartedly recommend Long. Also, let me assure you I’m a real person that gave this review of my own accord bc I believe good service deserves recognition.

We had a great experience at Long Chevy of Athens TN. Allison Smith was our salesperson. She has a great personality and was very patient with me because it took me a while to choose what I really wanted to purchase. She listens to what your needs are and is very knowledgeable on their cars. The finance lady was very knowledgeable and considerate and helpful also. We wanted to buy local and the team at Long Chevrolet made it possible. I am looking forward to having good maintenance people to work with also.

Cannot express how grateful I am for the service department and David. We were on our way to Gatlinburg and a long way from home when my truck’s engine light came on.
They were able to quickly diagnose the issue and it made the truck un-drivable. David ensured he would get us taken care of, stayed later to get us a rental car from Enterprise down the street before they closed, and got me a ride to Enterprise as well. Fortunately everything to include the rental was covered under the Powertrain warranty. David made sure to go above and beyond to help us get back on track to Gatlinburg without having to stay overnight in Athens. He is an incredible asset to this team.
