Kosir's Rafting & Campground

Kosir’s is the best! Our family has been coming here for decades, and we’ve always had a good experience. I can still remember getting the “safety talk” before Peshtigo rafting when I was a kid.

My wife and I recently visited for camping, kayaking, and a good meal in the restaurant. We got to meet brothers Nick and Dale, who are now running the show. They took over from their father, who I believe took over from another family member, so this place is def family owned and operated. They are making some wonderful upgrades, including a couple nice cabins that should be available to rent out soon. The campsites are all very nice, and the sand volleyball court looked great too.

We got a shuttle from Mike, their step brother, who is super nice and wouldn’t even accept any money for the ride. He was also our server at the restaurant the night before and was very helpful w drink options. If you are looking for a place to camp, eat, or get on the river (do it!), definitely go to Kosir’s. 👍🏼

This place is so awesome. The guys are great and really hooked it up! Had a blast on the Menominee today and will surely be back to do the Peshtigo next spring.

Went with UWGB and had a blast. We all loved it and the staff were very nice! The river was low but we all had a fantastic time. A lot of us were first timers and were able to do this river. Thanks guys, I now have "the itch" 😁

Go there it’s a lot a fun and there staff is nice. Our guide DJ was amazing. We had a group of six and we all enjoyed it a lot. Definitely bring sun screen tho.

Went rafting with my son. Ben was our leader at the back. He was great and my son said it was the best thing he did whilst we were up in WI.

We booked the 2 hour tour and we spotted the other companies 3 hour tour as we blasted past them... ha ha. Just book the 2 hour Kosir tour !

He also has a wealth of knowledge on the environment and we were lucky to spotted the rare flying shrimp.

These guys also recommended a great restaurant to eat afterwards.

Excellent camping and very welcoming host. We definitely felt at home and as though these were old friends.

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The campground was spacious and beautiful. Showers had warm water! We funyaked the Peshtigo in the end of June when the level was just above 4. It was incredible. Fun for the whole family. There was a photographer there when we were there that did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. We drove over 5 hours to check this place out and it was well worth it. We will be returning again.

Great experience. Awesome raft guides and a great place to stay for a number of days! They also have great food and an enjoyable bar and delicious food at the restaurant with a river view.

I had THE BEST white water rafting first-time experience at Kosir's!
First off, I expressed my fear and anxiety about participating, yet having a strong desire to have the experience. One of their trip leaders who often volunteers on some days just out of the goodness of his heart, Ben, offered up for me to raft with him!
It was difficult to take that leap of faith, but he really instantly made me feel very safe and secure. Before I knew it, I was entirely anxiety-free and was coasting and enjoying the float!

I also got to see how helpful and knowledgeable Ben was when rafters got stock on rocks, or even fell out in certain rapids. With ease, him and his 2 fellow trip leads/guides Jake & Mike overlooked over everyone's safety, and assured minimal mishaps; asserted their heroic selves in midst of harms way to rescue and retrieve. Everyone had a blast and got out injury free 😁.

And more so, the world's clumsiest and accident-prone chick didn't even for a second came close to flying out of the raft 🙋🏻‍♀🤗

Now I'm spoiled. I really don't know if I could ever get into a raft with anyone else. Ben had such a heightened degree of expertise, I don't know if I'll ever be able to achieve the same confidence in another raft guide🤦🏻‍♀

The fact of how amazing their workers and volunteers are, for me is a reflection of the company's decree.

This is one of the nicest campsites I have been to. We had so much space and the restrooms were really clean. The rafting was so fun and the guide awesome! We didn't want to go home. Next time I would book rafting two days in a row.

We've been going here for years! The campgrounds are gorgeous! Everyone working there is like family! They take such good care of us! Everything you could want for an amazing adventure is here! Rafting is a blast, kayaking relaxing, food at the bar is delicious, etc. You can have the most peaceful retreat or most exciting adventure! Whatever you are looking for is there for you to find! Thank you everyone for your kindness, thoughtfulness, attentiveness, humor, and everything!!!

Absolutely loved our rafting experience! We had family up all the way from Louisiana and we are so glad we planned this trip to Kosirs. Ben was our guide and he was hilarious. Truly made the experience even better! Definitely will be back again.

I am the scheduler and trip coordinator for a Boy Scout troop and really put a lot of focus on planning once in a lifetime, epic level trips for the boys. I have dealt with guides all over the country in a multitude of high adventure disciplines and DJ, our guide, was OUTSTANDING at his job. I suggest that anyone interested in a whitewater trip look him up! Truly a master of his craft and an amazing human as well!

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. They were eager to share their knowledge, whether it was rafting tips from our guide, hiking recommendations, or a really good hot sauce in the restaurant. I had so much fun and would definitely come again!!

Camping, bar-resturant and WHITE WATER RAFTING!! Over the last few years, I find myself frequenting Kosir's, mainly to go rafting, but I can't go rafting before I've had some biscuits and gravy... really, whatever you want. If I'm camping there, I'm probably eating there because the cooks know what they're doing. Nothing fancy, but it's done right. Looking for something fancy? Go back to the city. Want to try a wing competition during Pesh fest that will melt your face off? I thought I was going to die and I'll probably do it all over again.

Wow! Such an amazing experience! I had no idea what to expect going into this, I had never been rafting before. I'll never forget my first time rafting and will be back again! Staff was very helpful, site's were clean and spacious, and the vibes were top notch.

We had a fantastic time rafting the Menominee with Kosirs! Our guide was great and made sure we were well prepared. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great adventure.

Best friend from High School and I ran the Peshtigo and the Menominee Rivers. I had so much fun on the Peshtigo, I joined in with another group that left shortly after we got back and did the trip twice in one day. Dale did a great job on both rivers. I loved getting to run the gorge twice and Matt (I think that was his name) got some great photos for us.

My friends and I did the Menominee River rafting trip. It was A+ all around We especially appreciated our guide Ben. He was obviously skilled, a funny guy and perfect for our group. Can't wait to come back!

Very nice camp ground. The sites are a decent size (we tent camp) Hasn't been overly crowded any time we've camped. Price is very reasonable. Tubing is also enjoyable
