Komedy Lounge

It is one of our favorite places where we meet up with our artistic family. The owners and staff are phenomenal. Well-known and local entertainers frequent Komedy Lounge, so if you are networking or just enjoying a hilarious night out...this is the place!

Great Sunday Jazz brunch for a birthday. The musician/saxophonist was great. Jasmin was an awesome server and made it even more special. Prices were good and the owner very personable. There were not hidden fees. Definitely coming back.

Delicious food that paired well with the drinks, the staff is friendly and provided excellent customer service. The komedy was hilarious I left there sore from laughing so much.

Didn’t try the food, but will the next time I go. I had Lemon Drops, which weren’t on the menu 😁. They were awesome and I can’t wait to return. It was a vibe!

Enjoyed the show. The poetry reading was amazing and the comedy show was funny. Support your local black owned establishment!!

Not even gonna lie. I had just picked up my wife from work and we were in the mood for wings. We always see the sign and never went in so we decided to change that. From the bartender, the owner and to the people that were practicing comedy, thank you all for the amazing experience. If you like good drinks, good food and an atmosphere that feels like you’re at a family gathering and everyone cracking jokes.. THIS IS THE PLACE.

I drove by this spot for the past year and tonight was my first time actually going inside for a show. I must say that I have been missing out on a hidden gem. The entertainment was too funny and the food was even better. I had the lemon pepper wings and they were a nice size and seasoned well. I will definitely be patronizing this place going for my comedy entertainment.

This place is fabulous! The staff, the service, the food are all exceptional! The bartender, Jazz, is so personable and professional that we'll be back just for the drinks and to talk to get again lol. The Comedy is always awesome with an array of talent from all across the country! The prices are very fair! The owner, Leonard, treats all his guests as family so I see why he keeps a nice diverse crowd of people. Great job guys! We'll definitely be back very soon! 10 stars!

Very nice grown and sexy spot! Y'all the food even good!!!! That rate you from a club with a really good atmosphere and good food! Wait the peach Bellini was the bomb I had a shot of grand Marnier on mine and ran up the bill but we could so! Make sure you can! Let's support this business establishment!! Of the customer service was amazing as well I can't remember our waitress/bartender name but she was so pretty high yella shirt hair! Be sure to tip her!!

Visiting our daughter in H-Town from the Motor City "The D" Had a really amazing time at the Komedy Lounge with headliner Cocoa Brown. It's definitely a place to visit for comedy and other activities they have going on throughout the week and weekend. We will definitely be visiting again when we return to H-Town.

Each time I come here I enjoy myself. The atmosphere is nice the servers are pleasant the food is good not salty I was so happy for that. Let me not forget them drinks that had me on my bottom I will be making them a regular go to!!

When they first started the line up was okay just needed to be supported and they have improved and will continue it's a must stop and support venue. Food is okay. Great atmosphere. Drinks could be stronger.

Staff, management & ownership take pride in this place for a reason. Incredible atmosphere & fantastic entertainment. Food is great too!

The club is close by. The owners were on-site interacting with their patrons. I felt welcomed. The Sommore drink was perfect and the catfish po boy with coleslaw and onion rings hit the spot. The wait staff was very attentive. Our waiter had only been there a week but he knew his stuff. Michael Colyar was really funny. I will be back to try Sunday brunch and jazz.

The comedy (all ladies comedians, two sold out shows, ) was fantastic and so was the drinks and food. Had the lemon pepper wings. Celebrating my birthday. Love the Ladies night special The owners (black owned) were so accommodating. Can't wait for a return trip.

I really enjoy the Komedy Lounge a whole lot me and my wife have fun every time we go, usually Thursday nights for us. The food is so good 👍🏾 😋 one chef cooks like Keanu Reeves and the other chef was the cook on the set of the comedy movie Coming To America. Everyone there is so positive and encouraging best place to come out of your comedy shell. Thank you.

Great show, the food was decent but took about 30 minutes. Other than the long wait for food, I'd highly recommend.
