99 Cents Only Stores

I like the store because there's always something different there but you have to know your prices because some of the things are higher than regular stores. They're especially great for vegetables and fruit, dog treats, rice, pasta lots of things.

My family loves this store. They always have good deals and my kids can buy treats or toys with the money they earn from chores. But recently I got my son a debit card so he could start saving and manage his money digitally. He went to this store to buy some thing with the money he earned. When he got home he realized he forgot to bring a bag. He was too embarrassed to go back. But before I got a chance to go with him the store refunded his money for the items. This to me is integrity at the highest level. This is fantastic customer service. Keep up the great work and thank you for being an example of integrity and great customer service.

I usually find everything I'm looking for and more...prices have changed. But still lower than everywhere else. Line finding new items too.

What a blessing this store is for the savvy shopper. If you know, you know that it's one of the better ones in Houston. While right now fresh produce is in shorter supply, you can usually you can find a great range of organic fruit for under $2. You can also find a lot of health food products and vegetables like portobello mushrooms and bagged salads for a LOT cheaper. As a corporate nutritionist I have an eye for certain things and I regularly find kombucha, alkaline water, vegetable chips, keto staples, coconut milk, kefir water, yogurt, organic salad dressings, various baking flours (millet, gluten free, cornmeal, white and whole wheat), a wide variety of nuts and low sugar condiments here. If you have kids...they have tons of granola, healthy snack crackers, bars, organic treats, nut butters and fruit cups in fruit juice, trail mixes, etc

Tip...don't be in a rush when shopping for food at the 99...go slowly and methodically move up and down the aisles paying attention to the products high and lower things on the shelf.

I wasn't sure how I felt about coming back to this location after issues with my last couple of visits. I have to say though, as long as people like Tierra work there, I'll definitely keep shopping at that location. She was the perfect example of what an employee should be and she definitely represents her company well.

They always seem to have just what I’m looking for. You know, when you run out of dish soap during the middle of the week and don’t want to go to the grocery store. I am surprised to find higher quality brands there. I got turned on to Pure Leaf tea because they had a $.99 special on them at the store. Hibiscus is known for lowering high blood pressure and cherry is known for getting rid of inflammation.

Awesome ppl great store

I was visiting someone in Houston and came across this 99cent Store. It was a very nice shopping experience. I wasn't use to the shopping carts needing a quarter deposited to use one, however the security guard offered the quarter, and I went on my merry way. Isles were clear, shelves were stocked nicely and not too high. There were enough workers and registers so the wait time was not too bad. FYI: The 99cent store does have items that are above 99cent, which is okay. I will stop in again when I visit the area.

They have so many things here I just want to take everything. Great prices and nice friendly staff.

This is a very interesting discount store with various items with no more than $1.00. Most things you buy at other stores for $2-$5 cost only $1.00 here and they are of good quality with common or popular name brands. If it's not a popular brand, the contents of the item are the same. If you're concerned about saving money, spend wisely, like bargain, and a reasonable consumer, you need to be shopping here.

They have corned beef from Brazil!!!

Clean and well stocked store with some name brand products for much less than at the grocery story. Very friendly and helpful staff too. One of the best 99 Cents stores I been too.

One of the better dollar stores. They always have good value and good quality products if you know where to look. You can get quite lucky sometimes when getting hair accessories like goody of scunci. 99cents vs $3++ at walmart. They used to have a big value aisle that had dove shampoo and such but it's since been gone. Produce section is nice though. Sometimes you luck out and get 50cent red bell peppers ($1.42 in HEB) or butternut squash and last year even bacon and prosciutto. Just a matter of luck !

Four big avocados, Two large tomatoes, A bag of fresh Apium, a box of petroleum jelly.

Just like everywhere else the prices are going up ..but still a great selection of food and goodies..i recommend the 99c only store if you're on a budget

The store it's great, and they have safety distance, and you have to wear a face mask, and the price are good..
