Travis Trussell Park

This park is awesome if your children want to feed ducks, turtles, and fish. We took oats and lettuce to feed these guys. We have never seen so many turtles in one place. There were at least 30 turtles feeding at one time. It was neat to see them grab the lettuce and oats and then slide back in the water. The fish were amazing. There were so many of them. They would flop around trying to get the oats. The ducks also joined in. They do have machines that dispense food for 25 cents for a handful. There are also covered picnic tables that would be fine to have lunch at. There is also a shared library box. We enjoyed reading outside for a while. It was a good time had by all.

It's a really nice place to take the kids or to just sit and relax or even meet a friend and visit the city has really out done them selves fixing the duck pond up . Two thumbs great job

Really nice duck pond just off the main drag. Has plenty of benches and a lottle pavilion. Seed available for a quarter to feed the ducks, geese etc ...

The walk way is great to have a good run with a few quiet places to stop and enjoy the scene of the ducks and pond. It's next to a busy street, but the fencing helps along the road if taking the kids or pups out. They've recently improved the pond quite a bit, by taking the large fencing along the pond off and replacing it with a much more appealing fencing and lighting.

This park is always so fun to take the kids to feed the ducks. I love how they remodeled the park and made it to where you can walk around the park. So nice place to go for a walk as well. Also, please don't feed the ducks bread it makes them sick and the water nasty. The have a chart there that list whats good for them to eat and if you have some spare change there's a machine that carries bird seeds that the ducks feed on.

It's a good thing they finally got rid of that horrible fence and upgraded this park. It's a nice and a good way to get some exercise walking around it

Beautiful area to take your family friends it's calming when you have alot in your mind

It's a really clean nice area to walk around the Ducks in the pond, and they sell Duck feed also. There are so many Ducks, the walk path is all concrete and clean. Bring the kids and have a picnic under the pavilion or Sit on the benches around the pond and enjoy the water fountain in the middle of the pond. The night lights in the pond sprayer is really nice. Breeze was perfect for a night brisk walk around the pond. Our 1st time to be here from out of town and we will definitely be returning every trip back to Plainview (our son is on the basketball team for Wayland and we are planning on being in Plainview a lot). We really liked the Pond and the Ducks!!

It was great the walk me and my wife had was phenomenal. And feeding the ducks with the kids was awesome.

Relaxing place to watch the ducks swimming . there is a sidewalk around the pond to walk for exercise.

It's a very relaxing and very nice place to walk, have a picnic, or just sit on the bench and watch the ducks.

This is a great place to walk for recreational purposes and enjoy family time as well.

All of the updates look really nice, it's so much better than it used to be. Everyone there seemed to be having a really nice time.

Its a great place to enjoy the scenery. All times are great but I prefer the morning.

Love taking my grandbabies here. A great place to start teaching about respecting nature.
