My wife Trish and I have been going to CCF on and off for 8 years. Since COVID we have been going regularly now for over a year.
We love this church, this pastor and this church family. We live in Longview so we do not get to participate in all aspects of the church life, yet we continue to go as we have heard pastor David speak on the things happening today in our world and country for over 7 years. He has literally been warning us to not on get prepared but to be prepared and to stay prepared for the current events in our world and for future events.
He preaches from the Word of God and inserts quotes from authors that have made Bible passages a little easier to understand in our modern world.
If your looking for a church that is a Bible believing, Holy Ghost led and weirdly and wonderfully proud to be Christian, American, patriotic and sincere, then this is the place for you. God’s presence is all over this place.

Well worth the drive from Longview every week!

Matthew 13:34-35 Pastor speaks the through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Sermons are well prepared, impeccable, interesting and concise. You never leave this church without learning something with plenty food for thought. Sunday school is great.

Between my wife and I, our kids, their family and extended family ... we total 21 of the average 750 that attend CCF every week. Our family age range is from 6-75. Here's my input from our 9 years of attendance:

CCF is an awesome non-denominational church that exists to help us internalize and practically live out this vision statement:

Reaching Up to know the Father's heart ....
Reaching In to build godly lives and healthy relationships ....
Reaching Out to our local community and beyond with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Hickey is an avid reader and uses many quotes from Christian authors to support his bible-based message. His messages are short, usually 20-25 minutes long and always leave us challenged and encouraged in our relationship with God, ourselves and others.

There's lots happening throughout the week for all ages but if you just want a good dose of the presence of God with our worship time, useful instruction from the Bible and need some personal prayer every Sunday, I'd give CCF a try.

Worship at CCF will bring you to your feet or your knees. The sermon is easy to digest and concise but absolutely 100% Bible.

Great place for families and those who are afraid of judgment at church, not here comes as you are!

We couldn't ask for a better Church, a better group of believers, or even a better pastor, this is the place to come and worship you really feel God's presence.

Great place to hear the Word of God preached and it is also an awesome place to worship. Enjoy the people and fellowship.

The Pastor preaches the word as it is and doesn't cut corners. The Truth is the truth but he speaks it with wisdom and love.

Great church with many ministry leaders, go to church here when you are heading East or West.
