Season was our waitress. Friendly service and great recommendations. Had the fish tacos. They were flavorful and portions were perfect.

The others dining with me had quesadillas which they said were also good.

I love the remodel! It’s very warm and cozy. The people are great and the food is delicious!!

I haven't been here in 15+ years and OMG! Was delicious! It's not so dark like it used to be, much better! I got the Thursday special, which was the Mexican Skillet (bottom plate), definitely recommend! My cousin got a burrito of some sort, and she recommends as well! We will be back! 😋😋

I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised! We were invited out to this Mexican restaurant in the middle of a corn field and I was worried. Unnecessary! The poor man's lobster was SO good! Home made rye that was so soft, homemade slaw that made us all LICK THE BOWL, fish that melted in my mouth. My husband ate the chimichanga and while I was not an "authentic" chimi, he raved about the flake crust and delicious insides. Good job! Clean bathrooms and well decorated. We will be back!

Wow! When you walk in the place, it's different; the lighting and atmosphere has a festive feel. I had the super burrito and it lived up to it's name; the shredded beef was so gooood!

Great little Mexican restaurant with large portions that can feed the largest of men, as well as some good drinks in the bar, there speciality is the chimichangas which are very good and definitely worth a try

Food is really good! Service was really good, even though I picked up the food. Bartender was really good. They told me what time is was suppose to be ready and it was ready at the time. I didn't have to wait.

I had the best experience at Chico’s last night. Sometimes we forgot about the spots that are a little out of the way. Chico’s is clean, comfortable, and fun atmosphere. We had the Pollo Pasta and it is my new favorite dish anywhere. But the service I received was the reason I felt the need to post. It’s been a long time that I had a server that mindful and attentive.

If you are in Wausau, how lucky are you? You have the opportunity to bite into and savor the BEST chimis on the planet. Huge, crispy shelled, filled with tender delicious meat, sour cream, topped with melted wisco cheese and crisp lettuce. Have a look at the wild side of your appetite and enjoy it being satisfied! Try one once and you will go back for more! I am partial to the shredded beef, but there are many choices including VEGETARIAN style.

WE have been going to Chicos for nearly 33 years. I can honestly say that the food is delicious. Always made from scratch and the drinks never disappoint. Great place, great people. If you have never been there what are you waiting for.

My husband has a ground beef chimi with no tomatoes like always I had the small chicken quesadilla which was huge excellent food service.

I am ecuadorian but I love Wausau, and my favorite place to eat and have drinks is Chico's. I was there again 2 years ago and it was so nice to see Heidi, the owner.
