Great food great service great people. Prices are really good especially nowadays you can get breakfast for about $7,$8 and it's cooked right then. So nice and fresh. I'm visiting moundsville for the next few months and I have already been there probably half a dozen times if not more. If you like local Hangouts this is the place for you. My goal is always to find where the people in the area go and this is definitely one of them.

This place is a true diamond in the rough! We stopped in Moundsville for a quick stay overnight and after a quick search for breakfast we stumbled onto Grandma Jo's Polkadot Cafe. We could not praise this place enough. The prices are great and the food itself is extraordinary! I ordered "The Shock" and haven't been that satisfied with a breakfast in ages. On top of everything else, the service was stupendous.

I can't recommend this place enough. A welcoming family atmosphere with delicious food at unbeatable prices, what's not to love?

Food was delicious and super cheap. Got the roast beef melt, super good. Boyfriend got the mushroom swiss, and the burger was a real burger. He loved it as well. Cheryl the cook is the sweetest thing ever! She was helping the server and helped at our table. Love her! Totally recommended this place. If I loved closer I would eat here everyday.

We went for breakfast the other morning and the food was really good. Small town dinner atmosphere.

I came today and had basically no wait! I was greeting by a waitress almost immediately and my food got back to me only around 15 minutes of waiting. I got the breakfast sandwich they had and absolutely loved it! The sweet tea was one of the best things though, it reminded me just of home. Even when we were done, the waitress stayed around and told us about the town since we were just visiting. She told us she was brand new to the job and she was still great.
10/10! Im definitely making sure I come back if we drive by moundsville again.

We stopped in for a quick bite and we were pleasantly surprised in the quality of the food, the great service, and the welcoming environment. Food is delicious and we were impressed with the prices. Sweet tea tasted like I was back home in the south. We'll be back!

Great food . Great prices. Best prices. Liver and onions( the best) ,fries and a salad Thank you for the great customer service. Awesome awesome place. They also have machines there.

Stopped in for breakfast during my stay in Moundsville. Little bit of wait but very well worth it. Great homecooked food for less than what I would spend at McDonald's. Staff were sweet, other patrons were friendly. Atmosphere was simple and welcoming. Will be making sure to stop in anytime im in town.

Best omelet I ever had and my son said his over easy eggs were the best as well. The burger was also really good. Loved the hometown atmosphere and those girls were so sweet and hard working!

Small local place with GREAT HOME cooked breakfasts. So much , that we made the decision to over eat on the second day before we got in the car for an eight hour car ride. Could not leave with out enjoying the biscuits and gravy again. Service was great, staff was very nice.

Its a cute little space, and (despite my family being rude at each other), it was a calm space. I loved the Steak Hoagie i got. I hope to come back in the future

The best food. Very cheap prices. If it's a busy time or day, it's gonna be pretty packed. A wide variety of things to order. I have fed 5 people for under 40 bucks here. The other day we ate here. My husband ordered two entrees and my son ordered three. Still under 50 bucks. Can't say enough good things about this place. Probably our favorite place to eat in town.

If you want a home cooked meal then this restaurant is the place to go. Everyone is friendly and the food is fantastic! The best thing is that you don't have to empty your wallet because their prices are very reasonable.
