The Galley Restaurant

Closest to home cooking we've ever had at a restaurant. Beer battered fried walleye classic, Broasted chicken dinner, burgers and sandwiches. Breakfast ALL day! Server was delightful! Cook even came out to clarify an order. If you like the cosy feeling from throw back nautical decor and getting treated to a good comforting meal and a scratch made dessert this is your happy place.

An older building with worn finishings but welcoming. Generous and delicious Home cooked meals. Our young waitress was personable and friendly. See pictures of the meal and desserts.

Fantastic little out of the way diner. Great food, great service and great value! Highly recommend the fish and chips and the walleye dinner, which we had. 3 large pieces of fish and crispy fries. I had 1 piece of walleye that was big, flakey, lightly battered and cooked to perfection along with a huge serving of hash browns which I order extra crispy and that's exactly how they were done.

The Sunday chicken dinner is AWESOME. You can't beat the price! Half of boasted chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, a vegetable and a roll. All for under $10.00! This is our new go to place on Sundays.

Love the skillets, and if you want to try something unique, try the strawberry cream cheese french toast.

We had my inlaws down for some fish. It was fantastic with German potato salad "hot" my wife's burger was delicious. Could tell it was all homemade and this was important to us!
Having recently moved to Manitowoc from southeast Wisconsin we really hadn't found a bad meal in the area. On a side note the service at the galley was hands on great! We will be back.

Waitress was efficient and friendly. Food was excellent. The strawberry rhubarb pie is outta this world as is the pot roast. Prices are also good.
Will we go back? You betcha.........

Very fast, good service! Idk her name but she's a younger blonde woman. Fish was good, so was potato salad. Place is charming with early 90s vibes.

I still dream about that walleye sandwich I got at The Galley back in 2011 when visiting from Cincinnati. We plan on visiting for lunch on 5/20/2022 again, can't wait!

Their prices I feel are way too low for the amount of food you get they definitely make sure you don't go hungry this place it's definitely a missed gym by many I feel they cook amazing food almost every time I go there for dirt cheap

I've visited this restuarant over a dozen times since I moved to Manitowoc 9 months ago. The food is always delicious and the service is fantastic. The menu pricing is outstanding.

Great price for the value! Very nice environment and the staff are always very kind, I suggest The Galley sandwich it's been my favorite so far!

This place is very old school. Diner front seats with booths behind. Service is great the skilled is on point! Get it with sausage and chorizo 👌

Little outdated diner. But food was very good and reasonable. Strawberry shortcake really good and enough for 2 to share!

The food is good and the waitresses are AWESOME. Been going there for 13 years every Friday am.

The best corned beef and cabbage I have ever had was at the galley I wish you had it more often during the year all the food is great at your place
