Corner Pocket

Our first visit to the Corner Pocket. I had heard about them through a post on another forum. The service was amazing, the food fantastic. I had the ¾ pound hamburger run through the garden. This is a ¾ pound hamburger after it has been cooked we were told. The burger was cooked on a charbroil grill which adds even more flavor in my opinion. The burger was cooked perfectly as were the fried mushrooms.
The establishment is clean, with a nice menu selection, there is plenty of seating and also a few pool tables. We look forward to returning.

Had to go back and have another one of those amazing ¾ pound charbroiled hamburgers. The service was amazing, our server did an excellent job. They had several orders and carry out orders going. Kudos to the line cook. He never slowed down once the entire time we were there. You could definitely tell he had experience...

First time here, glad we stopped wife had cod sandwich I had the special grilled chicken and fries.

Our Pool League, Southern Illinois APA held an event st the Corner Pocket, in Du Quoin on Saturday. They were the perfect host and handled our nearly 60 guests flawlessly. We used their facility from 11am to 11pm covering both shifts of their staff. Our players had nothing but praise for everything. The food was on point all day long. The service was great from Muffy and Callie to Josh and Jason. Even the owners were on hand to assist if needed.
I personally had one of the best Ribeye sandwiches you can find. Their pool tables are top notch and played perfectly. Again, our players complimented them all day.
I would recommend the Corner Pocket for anything from a simple lunch to a business meeting, a birthday party or even a pool tournament.

Nice little place to shoot pool and grab a bite to eat. Very nice smooth tables and cost efficient.

Great place to dine or carry out, service and food is always excellent. Highly recommended.

BEST POOL TABLES IN SOUTHERN ILLNOIS! They have 4 7' diamonds and a 9' diamond. The food is also great and everyone I've came acrossed in there has been super cool! Plan to come back and visit frequently.

Really good. I'm ate the special. Rib eye baked potato. Was great. The girls had mushrooms and fries and shrimp. We all had a great meal. The staff are great. Go there. You won't be disappointed!

Love the Corner Pocket. It's a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Great food and probably the best burgers in Southern Illinois cooked right in front of you.

Probably the best place in town to eat. Anything from burgers, grilled chicken to ribeye sandwich is awesome. Highly recommend.....

You can never go wrong eating here. Everything is good. Coldest beer in town.

Service is great food is excellent

I love their "Italian Beef" it is just like my Momma makes them and they put a good amount of meat on each sandwich!!

Haven't been in years but all the same just as good as it was back then friendly service,clean,quit place just what I needed on a Saturday a cheese burger and fries and to wash it down with a cold 1

Staff was very nice and friendly! Food was really good and was done in a timely manner. A nice place to chill out and hang with friends.

Very good food and nice, talkative staff. The owner however is very rude. He could learn a thing or two from his staff. Life isn't so bad. He should take a class on customer service.

Saturday night special surf and turf was very good.

I love the atmosphere it self along with the food and the prices.. the pool tables in the back are open to play.. I have fun with friends when we go over there..

Delicious burgers with decent prices and the staff is willing to meet any odd request on food, the staff is also nice and the atmosphere is lovely.
