Emory Veterinary Clinic

We don't live in the area (yet), but wanted to keep our dog at a place close to Lake Fork. We flew out for the holidays and ended up with delays getting back to DFW. They were very understanding & kept our dog an extra day without any issues. Our "aged" dog was happy & active, unlike the last place we used, so we took that as a sign she was well kept. I would certainly recommend EVC.

I don't give too many reviews about very many veterinarians because I'm very picky. If I can bring my fur baby in and have them treated with love and compassion then you've won my heart. If you show me that my animals are not a dollar sign. You've won my upmost respect. I will drive hundreds of miles just to bring my babies to you. I have taken all my babies to Emory vet. The ladies there are absolutely fantastic. They love your fur babies like their own and that says a lot to me. Loving, compassionate and trusting in helping you help your babies. All have absolutely wonderful personalities and are very caring to you and your animals. I love them all and would highly recommend Emory vet to anyone. Thank you Emory vet. Yall are the best!! 😊❤

We take several cats and dogs to them. We have nothing but good visits and Dr.Bankston and Dr.Gibbs treat our pets with kindness and respect.

Dr. Gibbs recently performed an amputation on one of my cats (Charger) and he is already running around with no issues.

Dr. Gibbs saved one of my dogs ( Max) who was dying from heat exhaustion.

Dr.Bankston has helped with many of my outdoor cats, she researched and sent us to specialist when they had unusual issues. She is an awesome VET!

I only wish they seen Chickens lol too.

Would recommend them to anyone!

We were at Thousand Trails Camping and my dog was bit on the face by something. We could not identify. We called Emory they gave me instructions and we ran over. We had a time of it but my dog is fine now.
There quick assessment and treatment was astounding and they were so kind and sensitive to both my dog and I.

The entire staff cares about your fur babies as much as you do. The price is inexpensive compared to other vet clinics. The staff is always willing to work with you. Dr. Samantha Gibbs is an angel. We recently had to, unexpectedly, put two of our fur babies down. I would not want anyone else in the room with me than Dr. Gibbs while my babies went to the rainbow bridge.She remembers all your animals and will ask about them, even when you bring in another pet.I highly recommend Emory Vet Clinic, if you want an an entire staff that treats your pets as their own.

We came to Emory in early 2020 just before the pandemic took hold or our world. My husbands sister highly recommended Emory Vet for our then 6yo German shepherds needs and found everyone there competent and compassionate. Backes had some health issues that started with allergies when we moved to Texas from Illinois as he developed hot spots and started chewing on himself, then continuing and increasing pain from a blown out elbow that developed terrible arthritis that needed medication also for him to be comfortable.

In 2022 during one of our daily mile long walks he started getting gimpy with the contra lateral hind leg opposite his elbow injury. What else could go wrong with this gorgeous but unhealthy animal. Well, got him checked out and found that he had terrible gene that causes degenerative myelopathy, a disease that gradually causes the dog to lose motor control of his back legs. From onset to the time of death is usually 12 months or less.

Well, Backes made it 9 months before we were forced to mercifully lay him to rest with the help of the Emory vet personnel. They even dimmed the hall lights when we left with him to go home. These folks are a great Gem to have in a small town like Emory. God bless you all and THANKYOU!

I highly recommend this clinic!! Everyone was super nice and took good care of my fur baby! I had had surgery so could not lift and they were super in helping me get Zeva in and out of car! Staff and doctors so friendly and compassionate and care about their patients and putting us fur parents at ease knowing they are in good hands! I recommend with no hesitations and will be using them from now on!

Emory Vet was there when we needed them. We moved from a bigger city toward DFW and we’re continuing to see our previous vet. However, when our dog got a nasty ear infection and the big town vet couldn’t get him in for two weeks, we called Emory vet and had an appointment that day. They handled our “scaredy-cat” dog with compassion and got him on the medication he need. Thank goodness because based on how bad they indicated his infection was, waiting 2 weeks would’ve been detrimental to his health. They answered every question we had and followed up with us on concerns we had during his healing. Couldn’t have asked for a better, friendlier staff!

Best people in the world are here....all are very nice, politeness, and very caring about welfare of the parents as well as the furbabies. I recommend this place for all your fur babies needs. They will give bathes, cut nails to major surgery. The doctors here are very well trained and compassionate towards all involved....a great big shoutgoes out to Emory Vet Clinic GOOD JOB GUYS.

They were quick and extremely kind. Went in today to get our dogs microchipped and they weren't nervous, so you know these are good people :)

Wonderful experience with the staff as well as the Dr .They were so loving with our Diamond . It made her first yearly visit at their clinic much easier.
