Kac-Ka-Pon Restaurant

A classic American rural diner. The service was very friendly and quick. I had the bowl of chili with cheese, onions and a little sour cream and it was fantastic. It had the right combination of spicy and tangy and is made onsite daily. I also had the Club Sandwich with fries. It was excellent. The fries were perfect diner style: hot, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The club sandwich was loaded with all the good stuff. All of that (amd iced tea) came to $18 - a good deal for the proce. I'd definitely recommend this place after a day hiking and exploring.

What a great experience. The liver and onions was the best that I have had in my area! The prices and portions are very good. Most of all Dylan was so kind and helpful. What a great waiter! We will return and highly recommend!

Very friendly atmosphere and the food was fantastic. We had the western omelette and Doug’s breakfast bowl. Generous portions and the biscuits are to die for 🤤 We left feeling full and overall satisfied with our dining experience. We will definitely be coming back whenever we’re in the area.

Stopped here for a delightful lunch on a road trip from Northern Virginia. Our server Heather was very friendly. The food was great. Plenty of good choices at decent prices. Good local flavor. Hope to come here again sometime.

Very lovely service, always. Local foods with a very chill vibe. I would always suggest the sausage gravy and biscuits.

My husband and I stopped by today, our first time. We had just been out driving the George Washington National Forest. Service was very good. Greeted almost immediately. Our waitress was very nice, and helpful. I was able to switch my side to fries and gravy. The Baltimore girl in me always has to have them :) Good food, cheap!

We drove by once, and decided to turn around and give it a try. I'm glad we did.

BLT for $4 was tasty. Partner had shrimp and friends for $10 and there was a ton of shrimp. Blueberry pie was tasty with perfect crust

As someone said already, they serve the best breakfast in entire US. We stayed two nights by the Warden Lake and enjoyed their breakfast and dinner while we we're there. The Western omelette was amazing and they were very generous in providing side items. Dinner menu is a bit pricy compared to breakfast, but it was delicious as well. Butterfly trout, seafood platter, and chicken tenders were our favorite.

The town is so cute, clean, and friendly. If have time, take a walk around.

We stopped for lunch and the food was awesome as it is always. After a long morning of DR Appointments in Winchester and me fighting to get my husbands wheelchair out my vehicle some amazing wonderful person paid for our meal. You will never know how much this meant to us. I was told this special person does this all the time. I wish I could personally thank you and give a great big bear hug. God bless you my friend. This is the wife. My husband has been through so much since last year. Also thanks to the staff and cook for friendly great service.

Great service. Chef didn't cut any corners phenomenal country food. Wings is a must. I had the liver and onions couldn't have been cooked any better.

Fried green beans were delicious. Great place to stop for comfort food after weekend of camping.

Its always a great food experience and nice servers. Down on the farm, just like mama cooks.

We love eating here and always stop when in the area. The vegetable soup is great and the homemade pies are wonderful!
