Cedar Creek RV & Outdoor Center

Stayed here a few times now in both tent and travel trailer. It’s close enough to Rome to be convenient since our son goes to Berry College. Very quiet place with a paintball field next door that’s open on weekends (our kids play and I do sometimes). The staff are friendly and always accommodating. The kayak rental and shuttle is definitely worthwhile. Cave Springs is a nice little 5 minute drive for some free spring water and stroll through some cool antique shops. We liked this park so much we decided to leave our trailer in storage with them so we can use it and stay there regularly. Pricing is great for full hookups and the sites are all really good. Plus, they’re expanding right now. Lake Allatoona is close, so we’ll be doing some boating while staying there as well! Laundry facility is nice but I will say that the bath house could use some love.

Nice Campground with a nice, clear stream flowing behind the campsites. The people who run the place are fantastic. It was late in the day and we were tired and having trouble finding a place to stop. We called Cedar Creek and were trying to make arrangements with the lady on the phone to stay there when the cell phone dropped service. I knew that it was near closing time, and when we tried to call back we got a recording. I was just about ready to have a meltdown trying to decide if we should just drive down there or continue West, when she called me back. She stayed late and decided to try me again to see if we had gotten into a better cell phone zone. Literally at the corner of should I turn here or not. Thank you so much for your help. Also, because we camped there, we discovered Cave Springs which was a really cool little town. They have a wonderful spring there, unfortunately I was not able to explore the cave as it was still closed for the season. Probably missed it by just a few days. 🤔
In any case, I would definitely recommend this campground. It looked like they had plenty of things to do around there.

My wife is a contract nurse, we've been at Cedar Creek for 9 months' now.

Before we head out, I wanted to give them a well-deserved 5 star-review.

The park is managed by a loving and kind family. Good people who will assist with anything they possibly can. The upkeep of the location is spectacular.

There is a good blend of full-timers/casual weekenders coming through. With that being said, we have had 0 issues with anyone/anything at this park. On the contrary, the park is so neighborly that I often leave the RV unlocked when heading out because of the location/people here.

Location wise: You are 30 minutes away from Rome, which is the larger city nearby with plenty of places to get some good food. Cave Springs itself is 5 minutes away and is a perfect little town (most places are closed Sunday). The drive here is perfect (rolling hills/farmland).

Overall: Absolutely nothing to complain about. We would have been staying longer if possible.

We stayed here for a month and really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the store at the office has lots of essentials. The lots are fairly spacious, we had a creekside lot which was pretty. The city of Cave Springs is very cute with shopping opportunities and good restaurants. So good, we ate at the Mexican restaurant twice. The city of Rome is about 20 minutes away and has much more including lots of history. We will definitely be back!

Been about a year ago just got around to this. Love the camp ground creek right behind our RV really enjoyed that. All we caught where stick fish but they put up a fight. Especially the big branch fish. Employees where fun and very nice. I would go back but I sold the RV but one day we will be back.

My son william is staying here in camper with his family Jen and Liam we stayed at the birds nest lodge I would give this whole park a AAA++++ rating clean everything you need all people and staff GREAT A NICE AREA cave springs great restaurants wow also water you can drink right out of the mountain recommend to everyone I know thank you all we will be back Chip dempsey

Very nice camping areas and RV spots. Friendly staff and owners and a shuttle to a drop off for kayaking back to the camp area.
The only thing is we never seen the camp host the lady's shower house uses a code to get in. The code lock did not work you can just open the door and go in the mens side worked with the code. I would highly recommend a visit here

What a wonderful campground! Was very quiet, beautiful scenery, and excellent wifi. We will definitely be back.

Have been here a couple times to fish however if I was going to do any camping in the area; Cedar Creek would be my first choice. Prices are fair and reasonable. Camping spots are well maintained and the campground is very clean. Staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to some time off to take one of their kayak trips.
I would highly recommend this place.

We camp and kayaked here and the whole experience has been incredible. Kaitlyn and family in the office were very accommodating and went above and beyond for our doggie!!

The kayak adventure was perfect! It took right at 5 hours to go the over 5 mile trip but it was worth every paddle. If the water level is on the low side, be prepared for some rapids. One in our party flipped in a part that was a little rough. All fun and exciting though…no where near dangerous!

The campsite is great, spacious and set up perfectly for us! We will definitely be back and I hope sooner rather than later!!

Great relaxing place sometimes it's good fishing, most of the times it's great to tube swim play in the water.

Awesome camp site! I travel for work and this place was 20mins from my lot for work in Cedartown. Very friend staff and campers! Very peaceful and quiet! Well maintained and clean. Best site I have been to so far and will recommend others if ever in the area. Has a bath house and laundry room. Extra activities such as fishing, golf driving range, canoeing/kayaking, etc… Propane refill available on site was a plus! Wifi was a little iffy at times, no big deal for me. Hope to visit again in the future!

I evacuated my family to this park during a hurricane. This place was extremely welcoming and understanding. They gave us a spot right on the creek. It was a very pleasant stay. The permanent residents there were extremely friendly as well as the staff. This was also the perfect spot to explore into Alabama. Being that the time zone changes just across the border of GA and AL, it gave us an extra hour of sleep and an extra hour to explore AL. The National Park, Little River Park, is just across the AL state line. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay. Truly, after RV'ing for two summers, this is certainly one of our family's favorite parks.

The best place EVER ! We have raised our kiddos on this part of Big Cedar and will continue to spend every moment we can here! The staff has become like a 2nd family to us! Always safe and affordable fun!!

Our annual Georgia Mushroom Festival uses this campground as base camp and we all love it. Great location on Cedar Creek, many RV and tent sites, well-equipped store and so much more. We'll be back in 2020.

Campground is outstanding. The general store has lots of supplies and offers kayak rentals. A playground for kids and a calm swim experience in Big Cedar Creek. There is a paintball course next door for the adventurous ones. I am not a fan of the float. Big Cedar is fairly shallow at its normal flow level and you will spend more time scrubbing the bottom and getting unstuck than enjoying the float.

Great time at the 2022 Mushroom Music Jam! Plenty of space and a beautiful creek! Property owner very nice and hospitable!

Love this campground!!! Great for families, singles, and animal friendly. The staff is WONDERFUL! We go multiple times a year and though we branch out to try new spots, we always come back to Cedar Creek ❤

Great place to camp. Water is clear and the staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.
