Lexington Public Library

Growing up in a small city as I did, it’s nice to see many patrons at Lexington’s Public Library throughout the week.
When I was still in school, Lexington opened a small part of City Hall to use as a small library, but to see it now! The library has been in its current location for many years now and I HAVE to give my wife Kellie some major kudos! With at least 7 years under her belt as a librarian at the Tuscaloosa Public Library and even worked at UA’s campus library for a time, after leaving the public library.
If you have not visited the library in Lexington, AL, in a while, or not at all, I strongly recommend paying the library a visit. You might just be surprised how different things look and she has not even served as the head library guru an entire year! Bravo to all involved in keeping the library alive and thriving with new people visiting almost daily! My hat’s off to the city’s Mayor Sandra, and all the people of the library committee that has really helped in various ways to keep Lexington’s Library on the up and up!
Great library with new books coming in a few times each month and thereby helping the library continue to prosper and grow for the future.

I was in desperate need for a couple of faxes to be sent to multiple places, etc. Elaine was an expert for the job. Plus she serviced me with information regarding Lexington's Library History while I waited. She was very kind, knowledgeable, and able to answer all my questions. I am so glad she works with customers because I observed she has a shining high spirited personality and makes their day bright!

Please give her a raise or bonus this evaluation year for all her hard work😊.
