North End Soup Kitchen

The North End Soup Kitchen in Flint has been remodeled. It is bright, clean and spacious! They serve free lunch daily for anyone in need. They offer other small non food items. Sandwiches go out to different non-profit locations daily to help feed surrounding communities as well. The kitchen can always use donations of bread and other foods. North End Shop Kitchen does great things for the community!

Just a wonderful charitable organization and the leadership is fantastic. What a great resource in the Flint community!

The very sweetest people on earth run this place to help their community and those in need. Cannot thank them enough for all they do and always with a smile. Julie especially is as good of a person as you can find.

Excellent delicious foods, excellent cooks. No idea what is on the lunch and dinner menu from day to day. Take my word for it. Food is great. I'd go back time and time again. North End Soup Kitchen personnel turns away no one regardless of income level. Poor or rich. It does not matter

I went here for my Birthday. I volunteered here, Patti and Julie was like the best people in the world. So careful and sweet. They are the caretakers of the lost.

I dropped off some extra food that I had in my pantry to them so that they could help feed others. I really respect these people for putting forth their best effort and trying to help the underprivileged in our community. if you have anything extra in your pantry, please think about donating it to the North end suit kitchen prior to it expiring. If you're not going to eat it, why would you ask others to? please give healthy food so they can strengthen nourish others.

Julie does a fabulous job organizing volunteers in order to prepare and present a nutritious warm meal to our local soup kitchen guests each day.

You get to eat a hot meal for free. They serve lunch and dinner, except on Sundays, they serve a late lunch only... Not only all of that, but they usually have a lot of breads and other foods on a big table that you can help yourself to, and take it home with you... This place has truly been a blessing and a life saver for people like me, who are broke, living paycheck to paycheck, can't make ends meet, or just homeless... Last, but not least, the staff/volunteers there are just so humble, nice, respectful, and just full of smiles... Absolutely LOVE this place!!!! 💜💙

Good food most lunches and dinners. Nice security and servers. They have free bread most days you can pick up too. The bag dinners are definitely not the best.

A blessing for a hungry family not familiar with area. Thank you Catholic Charities for a safe place to get water, use bathroom, & have a hot meal when budget is tight or no kitchen available.

I volunteer there with my church once a month. Nice people, friendly atmosphere and everyone is so grateful. Great way to give back for individuals or families!

Volunteered once loved it the fact that they help thousands a year with hot food and a number of other things is truly awesome I give them all a big thumbs up...

Good food. Clean. Except for restrooms. No toilet paper. Seats don't sit down right. Only to stalls. But has soap water n paper towl. Extra food to take most of the time. And books to read

They do 2 meals a day except on Sun they only do 1 but, the food was always good and they always had stuff like potatoes, bread, and canned goods

The North End Soup Kitchen is a good place to go if you don't have a place to go eat at they have lunch and Dinner for the homeless or what ever.

Food not all that bad and its free sometimes get extra items to take with you like milk, bread, pastries
