Dr.Day has always done a great job for me.

Doctor Day is a wonderful Doctor to me when I had 3 Gallstones in my Gallbladder he removed my gallbladder an he repaired my hernia an then today he done the scope down my throat

They where very kind and fast and helpful to me. He also caught a special mole that had the potential to be the worst kind of skin cancer.

I have been Dr Days patient for years without one complaint.

While he's a great surgeon, he and his staff have the WORST customer service I've EVER known. After my surgery to have my gallbladder removed, I learned that he had also had to operate on a hernia. I didn't hear this from him, nor the nurses, but in passing from my mother. Dr day was too busy running out of the hospital doors to talk to his patient that had just had her first surgery ever. Fast forward to me picking up my pain medication, he didn't preauthorize my prescription, so I had to pay out of pocket. I waited til Monday before I could get ahold of them and when I told them my complaints they said "we've never heard of that." Really. Because pre- authorization has been going on for over a year now. I tell them I'm still in pain and have no idea what to do. The one and only time I've been to these people was in opp. So they tell me to come in. I drive PAINFULLY all the way to opp just to be met with a locked door. I try for 20 more minutes to get up with them. They finally answer saying they're not in opp today, but andalusia. By this point, I'm crying in pain. They didn't think to tell me that, even though I called the opp number, that they were in a completely opposite direction. This is by far the most unprofessional staff I e ever met

He has no bedside manner. He put my mom to sleep an never performed surgery. Also he could tell some knots on her breast were being but never done biopsy but 2 spots on each breast were worrisome. Without doin biopsy how the hell can u tell if one is being or one ain't. Dont make sense to be so yes I change dr for my mom.

I had a colonoscopy performed by Dr Day at Andalusia Hospital in 2014. The Nurse came in my room on completion and asked if I had seen the Dr which I replied no and she said "Nothing there you can go home". No follow up by the Dr, called his office 2 weeks later and the staff basically repeated, "No pol-lops your okay" and hung up. Just called them back its 2015, and questioned when do I need another colonoscopy, the staff said "You had no pol-lops 2014 but have in the past will call you back". That is what I am waiting on, I will never go to this Dr again or the Andalusia Hospital. All if them were totally unprofessional, felt unclean when I left the Hospital!
