Sure has changed since it was bought out. End of an era. Doesn’t feel hometown anymore. 5 stars because it’s closer than Lowe’s . Prices are not competitive but you get in and out quicker.

They carry much better lumber than Lowes or Home Depot. Most is #1.
It's like an older lumber yard. You go inside, pay, then drive around and they will load you. This is the only place I have found that does all of this! You're lucky if you can find someone at the others.
Here is a picture of their #1 lattice work that's a full 3/4" thick. No where else can you get this. Built this with the lumber.

Good prices and they loaded my car for me. What more could you ask for. I highly recommend them

checked mobile lumber and lowes for prices on 3/4 inch plywood and some boards. Ford's had the most affordable prices. Katie was very knowledgeable about the wood prices and offered alternative. We made our purchase from Ford's with the help of Katie and we were pleased although the price of wood has skyrocketed.

I normally go to Lowes or Dixie supply but after pricing landscaping timbers at both Ford came in a dollar and some change cheaper. So just that was 100.00 cheaper.
I then decided to get all my materials for my deck, I came in 200 cheaper then lowes so I added tin roof sheets, it was like getting it for free.
I will definitely make FORD Lumber my go to place FIRST!!!!!! What a deal!!!!

This place has everything you would find at the big box hardware stores but with the customer service you get from the small town hardware stores. The prices were a lot cheaper too.
