Ropa's Chicago Style Pizza

My son took one look at our Chicago style pizza we picked up and said "what is that, I'm not eating that" proceeded to eat it and say it was the best pizza he's ever had. Customer service here is spot on. Always great. We absolutely love this place and highly recommend.

My husband and I were hungry and decided to try something new. We waited about 30 min for our large deep dish but it was SO worth it. It looks like it is mainly a pick up or delivery place, so they gave us paper plates and plastic cutlery but we just sat down and ate it out of the box. It was amazing. Super hot and delicious. Definitely the best around. We ordered a salad which was good but the pizza was definitely the highlight. Service was also very good and they were very attentive and even asked if we enjoyed the pizza during our meal. We will definitely be back. 100% thank you Ropa!! 😍

Absolutely AMAZING deep dish!! Love how well put together the pizza was. To me a pizza is perfect when you can reheat it in the oven the next day and it still taste amazing like it did the first time around! Thank you for the best pizza in wisconsin!!

As always.. it's amazing! I moved here from Chicago and all of the places that claim to have Chicago style pizza are not even CLOSE! But Ropa's is really the closest.. thank you for a great product! And thank you for the great customer service😊

Fantastic pizza and hot beef sandwich! We're new to the area and definitely think we found our favorite pizza spot.

Excellent pizza, especially the deep dish which I thought had very flavorful tomatos on it. We don't get to Wausau very often, but when we do, Ropa's is a treat. The Owner is very nice and checks personally to make sure the food is to your liking. Ropa's is set up mostly for pick up and delivery, so if you are planning on dining in, it is a small establishment with only four tables. I highly recommend Ropa's if you are in Wausau and are hungry for Pizza.

Hot price for a hot slice! First time to Ropa's, the service was excellent and the pizza really hit the spot! Definitely stop out to rib mountain drive for a yummy bite.

Great local pizzeria! The pizza sauce is very tasty and the cheese is flavorful. The interior of the building is very small but there are still several tables if you want to dine in.

Been getting pizzas for my friends and family here for over 17 years the only place I recommend to anyone I know. Awsome seevice, awesome food, and best prices on a high-end pizza.

The thin crust was good, but the real claim to fame at Ropa's are their Chicago style pies and calzones. Wausau is lucky to have an authentic pizzeria like this one! Super quick delivery too

Food tasted very good, exceeded expectations. Staff was nice and had my pizza ready when I walked in. It’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I like to try the local joints when I travel. This place knocked it out of the park! I ordered a 12” classic combo. At first I wasn’t sure. Guy I ordered from was just so matter of fact, not much for conversation, but let me know it would be 20-25 minutes for my pizza. The time was fine. It actually came out earlier and the guy that brought it out and told me it was his favorite and he gets excited every time he cuts one because he knows how good it is.
Well I’m thinking I’ll eat some tonight, have a slice for breakfast and finish it for lunch. I don’t know what else they put into it other than what is listed, but the guy was right. Awesome pizza. It’s gone!! I’m fat and happy!

Went to Ropa's on a Wednesday evening right before closing. Been looking for a good Chicago style Pizza since I went to college in Chicago in the mid 80's. Found it finally. Loved the pizza and especially enjoyed the guy that worked there. He might have been the owner. He was a great guy that made sure we got what we wanted. Ate the pizza for left overs the next two days and liked it every time. Will definitely return!

I know Ropa’s is known for their deep dish and my family loves it. We went with their thin crust this time and it was outstanding!!!
Got a side order of cheesy garlic bread. Very good and the marinara is out of this world!

Was visiting from out of town. For dinner I was told to get a "good" pizza. The "best" at that. After searching pizza places around the area on google I came across Ropa's specifically from the pictures and the pictures don't lie!
When calling I had a sincere greeting! Told him I wasn't from the area and that we wanted a good pizza. Guy on the other line was soo kind. Even said that'd make it extra special since it was our first time! Awesome service! When arriving he came out with not one but two pizzas. When accidentally making a wrong size they mad the right size and gave us the smaller one as well when they could have jist thrown it or keep it for themselves since they were closing in 5 mins.
Pizzas were Hot to the touch! Went back to the hotel excited to see what great pizza I got for dinner. And what do you know it looks BOMB. Just like the picture even better.
Great looks, great taste, great customer service, EVERYTHING.
Ill definately be back. I'll be making the drive back just for Ropa's pizza. See you guys again soon!

They know how to make a traditional Chicago-style pizza. They are THE best in town. I am from Chicago and only Ropa's comes close to making me feel at home. Sam's is GARBAGE compared to this and even compared to the pizza chains. All of Ropa's appetizers are delicious, too. I highly recommend their mozzarella sticks.

Calzones and Italiano if ordering outside the pizza menu. Get the Italiano with au jus & marinera. Add Gardineria peppers if you like a bit of bite. The pizzas are amazing too. Great always friendly staff, for the last 10+ years!

If you want real chicago style pizza you cannot get it at any of the pizza chains in the Wausau area except for here. I picked up a pizza for a friend but had to have a slice and it's Delicious and I like it's new look with more tables close enough to interact with other pizza lover's, flat screens, better lighting and the wall art. The staff is polite and courteous and of course they deliver as well!

Ropa's has the best double dough pizza that I have ever eaten in my life!!!!!! The employees are great, friendly and always helpful!!!! I just love this place!!!!!!
