Cute little "ma and pop" type Mexican restaurant! Authentic Mexican food, unlike the corporated Mexican restaurants. Friendly owners and staff. Mexican market connected on other side. Highly recommended!!

These guys are terrific! Great food, large portions, fair price and very accommodating. Came in with a large group of friends. We were all able to order as needed and sit together for a late lunch. Excellent service. Thank you El Alamo

Hands down best tacos in Manitowoc!! Can’t understand where the negative reviews are coming from. Have been frequenting this amazing restaurant and grocery store at least once a week for over a year and have never had anything but consistently delicious tacos each and every time. Keep up the amazing work!! So happy to have this gem in my neighborhood. I recommend the Chorizo unless it’s Wednesday, when they offer Chicken, Pork, or Steak Mexican Style Tacos for only $1. Then I go with chicken and pork. And don’t miss the tamales. Yum!

My "go to" Mexican place. Chorizo is the best around. Absolutely love this place! Eaten here more times then I can remember and never have a complaint. Sometimes service is "slow" but I'm a patient person and it don't bother me a bit I don't go out to dinner or lunch to rush.

This is a familiar small town, small family, small business place here in Manitowoc. Attached to a small grocery store, you might stop in for lunch or dinner and then pick up some fresh vegetables next door! They accept cards and currently require at least a $5 total purchase . Mexican candy, spices, herbs, meats, snacks and drinks of all kind (alcohol is beer only at the store). The store also offers hygiene products, dish soap, laundry detergent, and many other daily necessities. There are even some kitchen supplies to be found. Most anytime I have visited there are both Spanish and English speaking people working there and able to help you. Stop by with the family sometime to check it out when you are able to visit both the restaurant and the store. It's a treat and you are supporting small business and the city!

They are now able to accept EBT! St is all great service! They also sell some new grocery products.

OMG this food is so good! 😋 The people are friendly and you get large portions. I got a chimichanga combo and a Mexican coca cola and it was the best chimi I have ever had. Highly recommend this place.

Put a four star but its totally worth a five. Staff is so friendly, and the food is so amazing. I think I was bitter they didnt serve liquor at the time. Everyone needs margs but they do now. Great place highly recommend!!!

Really like this place! Pretty great condiment bar, and cheap margaritas. I love th eir steak tacos the most, and come back all the time. Also, this is the only place ive ever found double flaming hot cheetos.
